Still

 

 

 

Even now he still remembers her soft skin that he loves to caress at night, her soft full lips that he loves enclose it with his own, the warmth of her body that lingers on his skin, her bright jade green eyes that match her cheerful smiles. 

 

Above of all he still remembers her love.

 

Sometime he always wonders why everything he loves in his life have to be taken away.

His brother, his family and now her.

 

Does God knows that even "the walking icecube of Konoha " isn't that emotionless?

Maybe this is his payback, a payback for once that he tried to kill her with his chidori.

 

Kill the only person who loves him even everyone turns their backs on him.

 

He feels angry sometimes.

 

How can you left me?

 

She doesn't mean to leave him.

He knows but it doesn't help.

And now he still feels the pain she left behind.

The pain that he wakes up to every morning but still can't forget.

Won't forget - even thought it hurts him.

Because that is the last thing she gave to him before she's gone.

 

The last word he give her is "Thank you" and then he left her for his redemption.

Even now, he still not so sure why did he use that word.

There're so many things he wants to say, want her to hear.

But he knows she understands every meaning of it

 

It's feels like the time he left Konoha.

But this time, he left and told her to wait for him.

Sometimes  in the middle of the night, when the pain she doesn't mean to cause hurt him too much.

He loves to think that this is just another trip of his redemption.

She still waits for him at what they called 'home'

It's stupid, he knows.

But even the colder bastard like him can't bare the knowledge that she's gone.

 

When they told him that he'll never see her again; he didn't cry, shake, weep or sob

 

His heart's breaking but the tears doesn't reach his eyes

He wants to scream until he chokes on his own blood but the voice doesn't reach his throat.

He wants to kill every person who hurt her but all he've done was nod and go back home.

 

"I will bring her back," He said.

 

Everyone told him that he's crazy because even Tsunadae can't bring her back.

Back from the death.

 

"Even if she's gone, her memories, her love, her everything still lives inside every parts of you," Naruto said.

 

But Naruto doesn't understand. Everyone doesn't understand.

Nobody doesn't understand that he's selfish.

She means everything to him, she's already every parts of him, the reason he still breathing is for her.

Uchiha Sasuke does not exists anymore, because every parts of him is gone.

He would bring her back even it took all of his lifetime.

 

But still, the fact is the fact.

Even he lied to himself so many times.

She still won't come back.

 

And now he's holding her hand, weeping in silence. Tried not to make any sounds.

 

He is crying.

 

Her porcelain skin is now cold like a stone in winter they stomped on back when they still young and naive.

Her beautiful green eyes are closed like the time he hold her close at night, pressing their bodies together, sharing the warmth.

but this time, her touch have no more warmth.

She's gone.

 

Maniacally, he still feels her love. And he's still love her.

 

Slowly kissing her forehead, he began to think back before the start of the redemption, Sakura told him that she has a gift for him when he come back. So in return, he has prepared his gift for her too.

 

And now it's too late, he has lost his chance to give her this gift when she still alive.

He pulls a red box from his pocket, next to his heart and opened it.

Inside showed a gorgeous jade ring.

 

He brings her limped left hand up and kiss her knuckles.

 

"married me,"

 

He slowedly put the ring on her lifeless finger.

 

"I will love you forever and always."

 

The last Uchiha sobs in his lover hands.

 

Because his future, his light, his beautiful wife has gone.

 

And will never come back.
