รูปแบบอ Direct Speech
รูปแบบารใ้ประโยมีอยู่ 3 นิือ
แบบที่1
❈ วาประโยนำ(เ่น He said หรือ้อวามอื่นใที่ล้ายันนี้) ไว้้นประโยทุรั้ไป
❈ ้าหลัประโยนำ้อใส่เรื่อหมาย Comma ( , ) ทุรั้ไป หรือ ( : ) หรือ( ; ) ็ไ้
❈ ประโยที่อยู่ในเรื่อหมายำพูามแบบารใ้แบบที่ 1 นี้ ้อนำ้วยัวอัษรให่ึ้น้นประโยเสมอ เ่น He said “The first heroine in Thai history was Tao Suranaree”
แบบที่ 2
❈ วาประโยนำ(เ่น He said หรือ้อวามอื่นใที่ล้ายันนี้) ไว้ท้ายประโยทุรั้ไป
❈ ใส่เรื่อหมาย Comma ( , ) ไว้หน้าประโยที่วาอยู่ท้ายประโยเสมอ
❈ ะเปลี่ยนรูปประโยนำา He said เป็น said he ็ไ้ และประโยในเรื่อหมายำพู้อเียนึ้น้น้วยอัษรัวให่เสมอ เ่น “The first heroine in Thai history was Tao Suranaree” he said. (or said he).

*้อยเว้น ถ้าประโยนำเป็น Present Simple Tens ประโยในเรื่อหมายำพูเป็น Tens อะไร็ไว้าม Tens นั้น ห้ามนำารเปลี่ยนแปล Tens มาใ้บัับโยเ็า
Direct = She says “I am reading a book now”. หล่อนพูว่า “ิันำลัอ่านหนัสืออยู่ะนี้”
Indirect = She says that she is reading a book then. หล่อนพูว่า หล่อนำลัอ่านหนัสืออยู่ะนี้
ประโยDirect Speechเป็นำถาม ให้เปลี่ยนเป็นประโยIndirect Speech ันี้
1. เปลี่ยนริยาอประโยนำเสียใหม่ ันี้
say เป็น ask
said เป็น asked
say to + บุล เป็น ask + บุล
said to + บุล เป็น asked + บุล
2. ประโยDirect Speech เป็นำถาม แ่ประโยึ้น้น้วยำที่เป็นำถามอยู่แล้ว็ให้ไว้เิม และไม่้อใส่ that เ้ามาร่วมอี
3. ถ้าประโยDirect Speech เป็นำถาม ึ้น้น้วยริยา่วย 24 ัว ัวใัวหนึ่ โยมี Question Words มาร่วมอยู่้วย ในรีเ่นนี้ให้ใ้ำเื่อมัวอื่นมาแทน ไ้แ่ Whether หรือ if (แปลว่า “หรือไม่”) และ็ไม่้อใส่ that เ้ามาอี
4. เปลี่ยนรูปประโยโรสร้าอ Direct Speech ึ่เป็นำถามนั้น ให้ลับเป็นโรสร้าอประโยบอเล่า
5. ารเปลี่ยนแปลสรรพนามบุล, ารเปลี่ยนแปล Tens และารเปลี่ยนำใล้เป็นำไลนั้นใ้ไ้ามปิ โยไม่มี้อยเว้นอะไรทั้สิ้น เ่น..
Direct : He said to me, Why did you come here yesterday?
Indirect : He asked me why I had gone there the day before.
เมื่อประโย Direct Speech เป็นประโยำสั่
ารทำประโย Direct Speech เป็นประโยำสั่ ำเือน ฯลฯ เป็น้นให้เป็น Indirect Speech ให้ทำันี้
1. ้อเปลี่ยนริยาอประโยนำไปเป็นริยาที่มีลัษะเป็นำสั่ัวใัวหนึ่ ทั้นี้ให้เหมาะสมับำแหน่านะอผู้ออำสั่
2. ะ้อระบุผู้ถูสั่หรือผู้ถูอร้อึ้นมาเป็นัวรรม(Object) อริยาในประโยนำเสมอ
3. สั่ให้ทำอะไร อร้อให้ทำอะไร ให้เิม to ้าหน้าริยาในประโยำสั่ที่อยู่ใน Direct Speech นั้น แล้วมัน็ะลายเป็นประโยำสั่อ Direct Speech ทันที เ่น
Direct : He said to his servant, “Cook breakfast for me”.
Indirect : He order his servant to cook breakfast for him.
ริยา่อไปนี้นำมาใ้เป็นริยาในประโยำสั่ไ้
Order สั่(ธรรมา) เ่น นายสั่บ่าว สั่ลูน้อเป็น้น
Command สั่(เียบา) เ่น ผู้บัับบัาสั่ลูน้อ
Tell บอ(ให้ระทำ) ใ้ไ้ทั่วไป
Ask อร้อ(ให้ระทำ) ะใ้ในรีที่มีำว่า please อยู่เท่านั้น และเมื่อเปลี่ยนเป็นindirect Speech ็ให้ัำว่า please ออและ มาใ้ ask แทน)
Beg อ, อร้อ, วิวอน (ให้ระทำ) (เหมือน ask แ่วามหมายอ่อนว่า)
Advise ัเือน, แนะนำ, บอ(ให้ระทำ) นิยมใ้ในรีบอ้วยวามหวัี
*อนึ่ ถ้าประโยำสั่นั้นเป็นประโยำสั่ห้าม หรือำสั่ปิเสธ เมื่อเป็นประโย Indirect Speech ให้ใ้ not to มารั่นระหว่าประโยนำับประโยำสั่ห้าม ส่วนำว่า don’t หรือ do not นั้นให้ลบทิ้เสีย ไม่้อนำมาเียนในประโยที่เปลี่ยนเป็น Indirect Speed ส่วนารเปลี่ยนอื่นๆยัใ้ามปิ เ่น...
Direct : My friend said to me, “Don’t bring my book here.”
Indirect : My friend asked me not to bring his book there.
