"The moon is so beautiful."

I had no shame to copy this sentence from someone. Modified it and used it. Before turning my face to look up to the beautiful sky. Obviously, I wanted to change the subject. 

"Never knew you had three eyes."

"Hmm?!?!"

"You said 'the moon is so beautiful' before you looked up to the sky."

"... Hey, are you messing up with me or what?"

"Nope."

He laughed and didn't even care whether I was pretending to make an angry face at him. He still looked straight to that beautiful dark horizon skyline. He looked too serene. And I felt like I needed to stop talking.

Although I had totally no idea what he was thinking, I felt those enormous emotions inside those beautiful eyes while he was staring right at the moon. I couldn't even look away. I couldn't even want to speak a word. I couldn't even make any sound at all. Except for one word. 

"Moon."

Moon turned his face to look at me and blinked slowly. I swore I saw some tears inside those eyes. Was he hurt? Why was I feeling some sort of hurt in my chest too?

"Don't look at me like that. I'm ok."

He used his cold fingers to touch my cheek. And I realized that I'm tearing up a little too. 

"But you look like you are crying."

"I'm thinking of someone important in my life. She was like my mother and also my teacher."

Moon smiled a little. Yet the sadness was still staying inside those sparkling eyes. It was still there. Not yet fading away.

"My brother told me when I was very young that she becomes the moon and stays up there in that sky. So when I have a chance to come back here to look at the moon. I miss her."

"..."

"Do you know that you look like you are about to cry now?"

"No, I'm not."

I refused yet still let him use his fingers to touch my eyes. Comforting me. 

"Moon."

"Hmm?"

"Thank you. Thanks for telling nana that you'll take care of me. And keep your word."

"Why are you telling me now?"

Moon looked at me and seemed surprised. He smiled widely at me.

"I just wanna say this to you."

Really. I just wanna tell him that I'm happy and very thankful for him. But that attention I got was a benefit.

"What if I just wanna ask you something?"

"Hmm?"

"Ra... For you, about us, what do you think we are?"

Hold on! Wait a minute! What's kind of question was that?!?! And what was that serious face for?

I stared back at Moon for a little while. It was more like stunned. Absolutely no idea what to do or to react. But then I thought I needed to say it out with my heart. I felt my cheeks and face were burning hot, but I needed to hide it.

"I think..."

"Let me say it first then."

"Wait..."

That wasn't helping me at all.

"I told you. At this moment, up here on the hill, it's romantic and perfect to confess the feeling to each other."

Moon laughed silently. Then he looked back up to the sky and kept on speaking. 

"Actually, when I went to study aboard. It was like my memory stopped. Everything was paused. Your picture in my memory was so clear. And I couldn't look at anyone anymore."

"..."

"At first, I didn't know why I had that feeling. But when I grew up, I kept on looking for someone that looked exactly like you, Ra. And kept on imagining how you would be like growing up. I did try to date some of them, but, in the end, our relationships didn't last long. The more I tried to pay attention to them closely, the more I realize they are not you. Also, one thing I know for sure is that I'm not interested in any girl."

Moon shrugged his shoulders a little. It was like he didn't really care.

"Or I should say that you are the only person I'm interested in."

 "Mm... Err... Me?"

I grabbed on my chest again automatically. My heart was raising up like crazy. It felt like my heart was coming out of my chest.

"Yes. It's totally your fault. Ra."

Moon laughed when he saw my moody face. 

"The first time when we met again, strangely, I was so interested in you, even though I didn't know you are my 'Ra'. I only knew that you have the same name and that caught my attention. Until I saw P'Chan, I knew immediately that you are my Ra. After that moment, my feeling toward you become so clear. I had never felt so certain like this... Never ever once in my life."

"..."

"Since then, getting to know you more and more every day helps me building up my strong feeling for you... What about you? Ra. Are you feeling the same way with me?"

I looked into those begging eyes. My both hands were still grabbing on my chest. It was terrible because my heartbeat kept rising up faster and faster. I opened my mouth, tried to say something, but then I shut it down. Those happened a couple of times. It was like I was automatically muted.

"I..."

For me, my feeling toward Moon is so crystal clear. But because my coward personality toward this idea so-called 'relationship' was new to me. I was only sitting and my body was shaking a little. Moon's eyes started to become worried about me. Of course, it was because of my reaction at that moment. 

But then...

Those sparkling eyes moved toward me closer and closer. His face as well, of course. Moon whispered some words that even made me stunned and didn't know what to react.

"If Ra is not saying anything, may I try to prove something?"

"..."

Moon's face was so close to me. My brain at that moment was completely blank. Absolutely nothing. Not even a single reaction. Only shutting my two eyes to give him a sign of approval.

That soft and gentle kiss on my lips was the first start. And our lips were sealing each other mouth. His warm and gentle breath was pouring on my cheek. His movement and the kiss pulled out all of my last energy to sit straight. I felt like I could be melted down to the ground. But that wasn't possible because his strong arms were holding my waist up close to his body. 

At the moment I thought I was passing away because I forgot to breathe. Moon took his lips away from mine. He waited until I could catch up with my breath and opened both eyes. We looked at each other eyes and smile. He showed me the happiest eyes I had never seen in my life from him. 

"Thank you."

My soft and almost-melted body was pulled toward his body by his arms. He hugged me tightly. I forgot to resist, or I should say that I didn't want to. I rested my chin on Moon's shoulder and wrapped my both arms around his neck. I just wanted to give him the answer he asked earlier that we had the same feeling for each other. 

(The sound of heartbeat)

Now I know the reason why I was always getting a strange heartbeat when I looked into his eyes.
