ลำดับตอนที่ #1 : ประทับใจที่1 Arabian Nights

จากความหลงใหลหมกมุ่นกับโลกอาหรับแฟนตาซี ทำให้ดิฉันควานหาสารพัดสิ่งบันเทิงใจแนว Arabian Nights มาให้รึ่มเลยค่ะ
แล้วก็ได้พบกับเพลงของซาร่าห์ เพลงนี้ ชื่อตรงตามตัว ดนตรีออกแนวตะวันออกกลางเล็กน้อย ให้ความรู้สึกเหมือนล่องลอยอยู่บนพรมวิเศษ เหาะไปในทะเลทราย (กับท่านชี้ครูปงาม อิๆๆ) อะไรแบบนั้น เพลงนี้มาจากอัลบั้ม Harem ซึ่งธีมของอัลบั้มอยู่ในขอบเขตของการทำดนตรีแบบตะวันออกกลาง ทั้งเนื้อหา และทำนอง แม้จะมีกลิ่นของความเป็นป๊อบเพื่อไม่ทิ้งกระแสตลาด และเนื้อหาเพลงแสดงออกถึงการมองตะวันออกกลางอย่างสถานที่วิจิตรพิศดาร (Exotic) แต่ก็ถือเป็นธรรมดาของการมองจากตะวันตก อย่างไรเสียก็ยังเป็นการแสดงออกอย่างให้เกียรติ และแสดงออกว่ามีความเท่าเทียม ดูจากการนำดนตรีสองวัฒนธรรมคือโอเปร่าป๊อบกับเครืองดนตรีพื้นเมือง ภาษาอาหรับกับภาษาอังกฤษ ผสมกลมกลืนกันได้เนียนดี อืม...เหมือนจิบกาแฟโมร็อคโกนุ่มๆ หอมๆ แต่สอยมาจากสตาร์บัคส์

ชอบใจที่ซาร่าห์ ไบรท์แมนคนนี้จริงๆแล้วเป็นคริสเตียนที่ค่อนข้างเคร่ง แต่ก็เปิดกว้างในการศึกษาภาษาชาติอื่น อย่างอาหรับ แล้วก็แสดงออกว่าเผยแพร่ผลงานของตนที่หยิบยืมวัฒนธรรมอื่นมาใส่ เพื่อศิลปะ เพื่อการสร้างสรรค์ ไม่ใช่เพื่อล้อเลียน

อินสไปร์จินตนาการนิยายอาหรับแฟนตาซีแบบลึกลับผสมโรแมนส์เหมือนกัน~~~
