Hope in darkness

      I’m a normal teenager girl with a normal life. I went out with friends on holiday. I was living in the hostel. I was very happy, but now everything becomes opposite.

      I’m a student abroad. Life here is so different form where I was. Everything is different, food, fashion, weather, culture, custom language etc. It’s very hard to communicate with someone.

      Before I was a quiet person but now I even more quite. Loneliness becomes my best friend. I felt like I have nothing at all. Daytime is such a boring. Night-time is so cold. I remember someone had tell me that "If we never felt sad we’ll never know what the happiness is". I miss it. I just wanted to go back. I was finding way to forget about this cause I know that’d never happen.

      It summer now. Before was windy and raining, such a terrible weather. At the weekend I went out to get sunlight and fresh air in the park. Walking alone and enjoyed the nice weather, try to forget everything. This is the happiest I ever had for the past one-year and a half. I couldn’t be happier.

      "Hi ya" someone was talking to me

      "Hi ya" I replied back and smiled at him. He is an Asian guy. He was a pretty good looking. He smiled all the time. That’s what I like about him.

      "What’s your name?" he asked

      "Mo, and yours?"

      "Kyaw, nice to meet u" he said. He really can’t stop smiling. So I smiled back and said "nice to meet u too"

      "Nice weather" he said

      "Yeah, nice weather" I said and look at him. He smiled at me again.

‘Oh my god, he is so cute. He kept smiling all the time’. I thought and I was just laughing. He was laughing too.

      "You know, you look so cute when you laugh." he said.

      "Thank you, so do u" I said.

      It’s 6 p.m. now but here is still has a sunshine. We walked along together, talking about stuff. He was a very funny person. He always made me laugh. We living in the same town but never see each other. Lucky enough that I’ve saw him today. He told me that he is now 23 years of age. I just couldn’t believe that we are 7 years different. He looked so young. He made me feel very comfortable while we were talking. He made me forgot the loneliness in side. Thanks god to give me a chance met with this guy.

      I looked at the time. It’s nearly 10 p.m. The sky is still light. I still don’t wanna go home.

      "By the way, don’t you hungry?" he asked

      "Oh yeah, I didn’t eat dinner yet" I said

      " Wanna eat something before you go home? Its 10 o’clock now"

      "Yea, ok" I said and we went to the Super Mc. to get some burger after that he walked me home.

In front of my apartment.

      " Good night my sis" he said

      "My sis?"

      "Yes my sister. You mind?"

      "No, not at all" I said then he laughed and said

      "From now on I’m your brother and you are my lovely sister, ok? Here is my number" he gave me a sheet of paper that has his number on it.

      " Don’t forget to call me." he said

      "I won’t." I said and he smiled at me

      "Bye bye my sis" he side

      "Bye brother" I said and walked in side. i couldn't stop smiling. i dont feel lonely anymore. I think I've found the happiness. please god i want it to be like this forever...
