As the subject of this topic is literally in English, the content below is going to be in English (sorry for your inconvenience)

A doctor’s life begins and a medical student’s life ends, but learning is never confined to just only students. For each of the patients that come to visit doctors everyday is a lesson to learn or a lesson to revise.  We all know that after six years in medical schools we’re just only a general practitioner or GP in abbreviation. Our knowledge is limited but diseases in the world are countless and we have limited memory space. General practitioners only know common diseases ,and as a human being we tend to forget some knowledge that is not often recalled—this is the reason why Doctors are life-long learners. We have to learn for our whole lives both the old knowledge and the new ones.

New guidelines are issued out every five years for major changes like in automobiles, minor changes every year and major changes every five years. We catch up with the trends—we have to read new stuff, try to understand them and adjust to our patients. There will be situations when our  patients have those odd symptoms and we are quite very familiar with them but we can’t recall, so it ends up that we use our mini-brain (our mobile phone) to look up for treatment or diagnosis.

No one never makes mistakes whether it’s life threatening or not. We are likely to go back and review the topics that we don’t know,or we probably use to know but our spongy brains already washed those memories away. Even we are too lazy to learn new things, but our environment may force us to push ourselves to go seek for answers we doubt in the first place.
It might also be our bad habits that we follow many medical groups or pages on Facebook since we were just medical students,so every day there will be at least one new feed popping up with some new medical stuff, a new medical journal or an updated version of extern or intern  survival guide.  ;D

Many interns still read textbooks, medical journals, short notes they make back when they are externs or other related matters. Fortunately, some of them know what they like and which specialty they like, so they will go for it—for instance spending more time reading about heart diseases or skin disease or attending conferences they are interested in.

For me I read and revise the subject that is stuck in my head but not yet clearly understood.
