Chapter 2 : Heartquake

 

At manager’s room

 

“Manager Lee… the president wants to meet you now ”

 

“I see… tell my father I will go now”

 

“OK”

At president’s room

“come on”

 

“hello dad… what’s happened why you want to see me? ”

 

“nothing important but I want to know how about your love with Mr.Kim?”

 

“you mean I and Kim Minuk?”

 

“yeah”

 

“good … heis very kind to me”

 

“that’s good cos it’s good for business between we and Kim’s family”

 

“I don’t think of business dad… I associate with Minuk cos he is a good man” Ujin refused her dad with bad mood.

 

“I know…I know but It’s good for our work too” Mr.Lee said. Ujin shook her head to disagree with her father.

 

“if you don’t have anything important I will go back to do my work. This time I have a lots of work”

 

“up to you my daughter”

Ujin came back to her room. While she was working her phone rang.

 

“hello”

 

“hello Ujin I’m Minuk”

 

“I know. Do you have anything with me?”

 

“this noon we should have lunch together I will go to pick you up at your office”

 

“ok bye”

 

“bye”

12.00 am.

 

     A luxurious black car arrived in a high-rise building of Lee’s family. And then two descendants of rich and famous family left out from the car.

At Italian restaurant

   

    Kim Minuk and Lee Ujin were having lunch. Suddenly glass water was fallen down to the ground from Ujin’s hand. She so frightened not more than someone who sit opposite her

 

“are you ok? How are you Ujin?”

 

“I have a headache … ah! Help me please… ah..a…h……a……..h” she cried as suffer.

 

“go home now Ujin” after Minuk finished his word he held Ujin in his arm and carried her to his car.

    In a flash the luxurious black car arrived at an immense mansion.

 

“doctor… how is Ujin?” Minuk asked with serious gesture.

 

“she has acute migraine. Don’t give a serious for her and should make her relax”

 

“ok… I will”

 

“give her some rest. I’ll be going to do my work and will come back to visit her again in the evening ”after the last word of the resident physician Yun Joohwan, he was going out

 

      Minuk sit near Ujin’s bed. Stared his lover with a sympathy.Ujin was crying and pressing her head with her hands. Minuk held the lover’s hand and fondled her.

 

“how are you Ujin?”

 

“so suffer seems my head will going to be fragmented. Like the earth is pressing on my head” she’s sobbing.

 

“please give your suffer to me. It’s better than I see you cry” Minuk kissed her forehead to show he will always stay with her.

 

“you must get some rest Ujin”

 

“I… ca..n’t ……s…lee………p”

 

“so I will sing a song for you …..OK?”

 

     Minkuk started his song…………………..

maybe I don’t similarly with someone you need.

did you disappoint to love with me?

In fact I can’t be the man in your dream.

If you’re unhappy and want to leave me. I see.

One thing I can do is love you only.

“why you don’t get more rest?” Minuk asked when Ujin awoke.

 

“I get it enough” are you always staying here?

 

“yeah … I can’t go anywhere… I anxious about you” Ujin gave little smile to him after heard that.

 

“now I’m fine you should go back to do your work”

 

“surely, but before I’ll go please tell me … do you love me?”

 

“I have no reason to tell you” her face blushed suddenly.

 

“ah! Please tell me my love if you tell me I will go ”

 

“sure?”

 

“sure dear”

 

“give your ear to me” Minuk moved his face near her face

 

“you are a good man , always takes care me… and important reason…  you never lies me . I think you know I disgust lie……… so ….I… love...you”

 

“aha! Proud to hear that …. So I will go now” Minuk went out with his grin.

 

     After Minuk went out. There was only Ujin in the room. She talked with herself

 

“Minuk I love you but some space of my heart was held by the boy who help me in 11 years ago. I wish you were the boy. If my wish come true. All of my heart was yours”

Next day at manager Lee’s room

 

“why you don’t get more rest my daughter?”

 

“I’m fine dad… if I don’t go to work today I think many piles of paper will be a mountain” Ujin said half jokingly.

 

“manager Lee this is a schedule for today” said by secretary after her father went out.

 

“tell me” Ujin said while doing another work.

 

“09.00 am. Meeting with committee about new department store project.

12.00 am. Have lunch with customer.

02.00 pm. Have an appointment with manager of choi’s group.

05.00 pm. Go to… ” the secretary stoped her presenting because she saw Ujin buried her face on thedesk.

 

“manager how are you?”

 

“my migraine’s relapse. Call a driver now I will go to see doctor Yun Joohwan”

 

“yes”

 

     Cruel sufferance came back to Ujin. Something was pressing her head like a bighand was annihilating her head as a toy. She felt more sufferance more more and more at last she decided to release it with her tears.

 

“Ms.Lee we arrived already”

 

“go back now and don’t tell no one about me”

 

“OK”

 

After finished her order Ujin came into Yun Joohwan’s home suddenly

 

“Ujin!!! What’s happened?” said by startling doctor.

 

His patient has no response.she only cried and pressed her head with her hands.

 

“ah! now I see what happened with you” Joohwan supported his patient to lie on a bed and inject some medicine to her.

 

15 minutes later. Ujin felt better.

 

“why you don’t rest in your mansion and call me to see you?”

 

“I don’t want to make anybody worry about me”

 

“including Mr.Kim Minuk?” Joohwan asked with consider

 

“yeah including him. I don’t want to make him worry”

 

Joohwan has no response. It Seemed he didn’t want to hear that answer.

 

“anyway you must come back to me at least 3 daysfrom this time cos if you have therapy it will better ”

 

“okay… but don’t tell anyone about me. I don’t want to make them worry”

 

“yes… I see”

.

For herself, for her lover, for her parents or for anything Ujin came to see Joohwan according to his order.

 

   Joohwan tried to reduce Ujin’s stress, gave some medicine to her,told her to take it easy. He tried to make her smile because if she smiled and laughed that seemed her stress was reduced.

 

     When the course is going to be end each day.Ujin usually said thank you and gave her smile to Joohwan before she left. While as while she left Joohwan changed his mood from happy to sad promptly and said with air.

 

 

“time up for stay with you.

 Time up for see your smile.

 Time up for hear your voice.

 I don’t know why I have this sense.

 I don’t know why I always think of you, why I always anxious when you cry, why I don’t satisfy when you talk about Kim Minuk. Maybe in my mind you don’t be my patient but you are…..the one…….. I…… fall…….. in……. love”
