The sky was dark up above. The ground was dirtied with blood and bones. Reinhold could only stare at the horror in front of him, devoid of control over his paralyzed body. Human's bones and not-so-human bigger bones fell from the dark sky to land around him. Some of them shattered into blood, which was a weird sight to see.

Reinhold was covered in blood that splattered around. His mouth tasted of metal and salt. His lower body was buried in the bones that kept falling from the sky. The smell seeped into his nose and it was agonizingly torturing. The bones kept falling down until there was a mountain. Reinhold watched as the bones buried him. He screamed and shot up from his bed.

His eyes focused and he saw that he was in his room in a cheap hotel. He dreamed like this again... Ever since he stole a red crystal from a cave in forest when he visited his grandparents, who had a house in a forest ... He didn't even know why they decided to live in a forest. All he knew was that.. they just wanted him to love the nature. Maybe there were reasons behind it and he just had to wait for them to tell him or he just ignored those reasons. It's not like he'll be bothered by that... Right?

FYI, he doesn't live with his parents. They divorced, leaving him to his grandparents to raise him. He wasn't troubled by this, however. Reinhold stopped his study after he graduated from high school, got a part-time job in Café, tried to be an author. He had written many stories but he didn't know which one he should debut with. He didn't know if his novels were good enough and he didn't have anyone who could help suggest him. You can just say that he was alone.

Let's go back to the red crystal thingy. So, when he stole the red crystal, his mind was like "I can sell this to get money" and that resulted in his grandparents getting injured by the mad people and he killed those three maniac, in order to protect himself and his grandparents. He buried the corpses and got his grandparents to the hospital, hoping that no one would find the corpses.

So now, he had to pay for his grandparents and his room in this cheap hotel. He was depressed. He regretted about how greedy he was at that time. He barely get enough sleep because of the nightmares that had been visiting his sleep ever since the day he stole the red crystal. He somehow didn't know why he hadn't sold that crystal yet. He felt something deep in his subconscious, telling him not to do that.

He decided to reach for the nightstands beside his bed and opened the drawer that contained the red crystal. He saw that it was growing bright and felt that it was attracting him. The longer he stare at the crystal the more emptying he felt.

He really didn't know what this crystal can do. It has to have something special that made the maniacs placed it in a circle of the ritual... There must be something inside it.. A golden tooth maybe?

He got up from his bed before stumbling to the desk. He placed the crystal and grabbed a cutter before slowly bringing it down to the crystal. What surprised him was that the blade melt and the crystal burned his hand. He yelped as pain surged through his nerves.

"Oh God.." He murmured, staring at his red fingers, pain surging through his nerves. He felt tears pricking at his eyes.

He looked at the crystal that was shinning red. He didn't know what on earth made it being shiny and burned up when getting cut by a cutter.

He could feel its heat fighting with the cool air that was flowing from air conditioner. He eyed the crystal warily before making a decision to stop paying it any attention, leaving it on the wooden desk and go to bed to get some rest. He had a job to do the next day.

Without knowing that he not be waking up and go to the Café tomorrow.

Heated crystal, Wooden desk and Cheap hotel. What could go wrong...?
