Scene 1 - Leila : The mysterious boy
Shocking news.
‘On last Saturday night, the police was informed that there had been an attack on one of the Maisies’ staff at the back of the restaurant. At the crime scene, there was a large amount of blood splashing all over the place, but the victim’s body was nowhere to be found. “Judging from the amount of blood we’ve found, the victim has a very low chance of survival.” said detective Jones. “We can assume that she’s not alive anymore, and we are doing everything in our power to bring her body back to the family.”

This is probably where the ‘No Body’ case’s name came from. She wonders what really happened. It’s been 5 days, but still nothing.
“Leila! Turn it down, will ya!? It’s too loud! Are you gonna kill us all?”
“S—Sorry”
Leila rushes to the remote control and turns the TV off right away. Jeez, it’s not that loud. She is so dramatic.
It’s her first time living alone by herself. Leila's been living here for almost a year now, but she still feels strange sometimes. Actually, it’s a nice apartment. The location is perfect—she can walk to her college within 10 minutes. The sanitary is not so bad either.
What Leila doesn’t like is her neighbor. She feels a little unwelcome here, well, much unwelcome, to be exact. Her neighbor's name is Mandy, or Moody, as Leila prefers to call her. Moody always picks on her. At first, she didn’t know why, but she thinks she does now.
“And Miss Leila, how many times do I have to keep informin’ ya that your highness cat has invaded my room, again?”
“Oh god. I’m so sorry. Is she still there?”
“No, I threw her out the window.”
“What?” Oh no! Her Missy!
“What’s with that ugly face? Do ya really think that low of me? I didn’t do anything to your cat. I just took the cat out to the balcony.”
Leila hurriedly jumps to the balcony at once and search for her cat, but she’s not here. Where is she?
There is a little meow sound coming from above. She looks up to the roof and see her Missy wagging her tail on the rooftops edge. The apartment has 8 stories. Her room is on the 7th floor. Therefore, She loves to take Missy out to the rooftop from time to time. Because of her, Missy must have thought that it’s okay to go up there.
“Missy. Come down here” Leila can’t remember when was the last time Missy did what she was told.
As always, Missy ignores her.
There’s no choice. She has to go up there and take her down here herself.
The stairway to the rooftop is located at the end of the corridor. She doesn’t usually use it, unless she's going to the rooftop with Missy. Come to think of it, she has never walked up there alone before.
Finally, Leila's at the top of the stairs. She reaches her right hand to the doorknob and opens the rooftop door.
All stars above the sky shine at her.
What a beautiful night.
“Missy! Come on here!” Leila calls out for her cat. No responding. She should have brought some cat food with her.
She starts walking towards water tanks and looks around for her Missy. It’s so dark up here, and Missy's hair is all dark too. How can she find her in the dark like this.
“Mis—” Words escape from her lips as Leila stumbles on something and almost falls down.
What the hell?
She feels like there is something on the floor but she can’t see anything. That’s why Leila has to take her phone out and turns on the flashlight. Hopefully she hasn’t just stepped on Missy.
The light brightens, and she gasps in shock.
That something is actually someone!
A man—no, a boy—is lying face down on the floor. What made her shocked was the sea of blood on his body. There is blood all over him. Oh my god! Is he dead!?
“Hey! Are you okay?”
She has to call 911. Leila tries to hold the phone still, but her shaking hands betray her. She never does well in any crisis situations.
‘911, what’s your emergency?’
“H—Hi! I—I need an ambulance. There is someone injured on the rooftop.”
‘What’s the address, Ma’am?’
“I—It’s er—”
Leila screams as her phone is suddenly snatched from her hand. She can hear the sound of her own heart beating like crazy in her chest.
It was the injured boy’s hand. He is alive.
“Thank god, you’re alive! Are you alright?”
She watches him trying to sit up, but it looks like he doesn’t have enough strength to do so. Her phone is still in his hand and the flashlight is still on. The light helps her see his face and his injuries.
However, Leila isn't sure she sees any his injuries at all. Maybe she can’t see clearly enough because of the darkness around them.
His face is covered with so much blood, especially around his mouth down to the neck. He looks like an ordinary teenage boy who is definitely not older than fourteen. Because of the darkness, Leila can’t tell the color of his hair, but his eye color looks strange to her. It’s really light, even though they’re in the dark. It makes her think of Missy’s eyes glowing when she is looking at her in the dark.
Anyway, what’s this boy doing on the rooftop? Is he one of the residents in the apartment? And how did he get injured in the first place?
‘Ma’am, are you still with us?’ Leila hears the officer’s voice coming out from her phone. It’s still connecting.
The mysterious boy startles, and immediately throws her phone away as if he gets frightened of it. Her phone crosses the parapet wall and drops to the ground. The light is gone, so is the chance to say goodbye to that officer.
Okay—What a pretty weird reaction and kinds of aggressive. Leila is not sure she should get angry at him or get scared of him.
She can’t see anything now. Missy is still out here somewhere and she wants to find her, but she thinks that this boy needs medical attention as soon as possible.
“Can you stand? Do you need help?” Leila reaches out to touch his arm to help him stand up, but he shakes her hands off.
Then he falls to the floor and lies very still. Leila can’t sense any movements from him anymore.
Oh my god. What should she do?

เลย์ล่ารีบพุ่ัวไปหารีโมททีวีแล้วปิเรื่อทันที ให้ายเถอะ วามริแล้วมัน็ไม่ไ้ะัอะไรนานั้นะหน่อย ราม่าริๆ
เธอเพิ่ะออมาอาศัยอยู่นเียวเป็นรั้แร เธออยู่ที่นี่มาเือบปีแล้ว็ริ แ่็ยัรู้สึแปลๆ อยู่บ้า วามริแล้วอพาร์ทเมนท์ที่นี่ีเลยนะ สถานที่ั้ีามมาๆ เธอสามารถเินไปมหาวิทยาลัยไ้ภายในสิบนาที แถมวามสะอา็โอเเลย้วย
สิ่ที่เธอไม่อบ็มีแ่เพื่อน้าห้อ เธอไม่รู้สึว่าัวเอเป็นที่้อนรับสัเท่าไหร่ ไม่สิ น่าะเรียไ้ว่าไม่เป็นที่้อนรับอย่าแรเลย่าหา เพื่อน้าห้ออเธอื่อแมนี้ แ่เธออบเรียอีฝ่ายว่ามู้ี้มาว่า มู้ี้อบอยหาเรื่อเธอลอ อนแรเลย์ล่าไม่รู้ว่าเป็นเพราะอะไร แ่อนนี้เธอว่าเธอรู้สาเหุแล้วล่ะ (หมายเหุาไรท์้ะ: Moody มู้ี้ แปลว่าเ้าอารม์ ไม่รู้ะทำให้ไทยเล่นำไ้ยัไอะ)
“แล้ว็ท่านเลย์ล่าเพะ ไม่ทราบว่าิันะ้อแ้ให้ท่านทราบอีี่รั้ะว่าแมวอท่านบุรุเ้ามาในห้อิัน อีแล้ว!”
“ายแล้ว อโทษนะ แล้วมันยัอยู่ับเธอรึเปล่า”
“ไม่อยู่ละ ันับมันโยนไปนอหน้า่าแล้ว”
“หา!?” ไม่นะ! เ้ามิี่!

เลย์ล่ารีบพุ่ัวไปที่ระเบียแล้วมอหาเ้าเหมียวอเธอโยพลัน แ่มิี่ไม่ไ้อยู่รนี้ มันไปอยู่ที่ไหนัน
มีเสียร้อเมี้ยวเบาๆ ัมาา้าบน เลย์ล่ารีบเยหน้าึ้นมอไปบนหลัา เห็นว่ามิี่อเธอำลันั่ระิหาเบาๆ อบู่บนริมแนวั้นอั้นาฟ้า อพาร์ทเมนท์อเธอมีทั้หมแปั้น ห้ออเธออยู่ั้นเ็ เพราะะนั้นเธอึอบพามิี่ึ้นไปเินเล่นบนาฟ้าเป็นรั้ราว ้อเป็นเพราะเธอแน่ๆ มิี่ถึไ้ิว่ามันึ้นไปบนาฟ้าไ้
“มิี่ ลมานี่นะ” ะว่าไป็ำไม่ไ้เลยแฮะว่ามิี่เยทำามสิ่ที่เธอพูะเมื่อไหร่

เลย์ล่า้าวเินเ้าไปหาแท้์น้ำพร้อมับมอหาเ้าเหมียวน้อยไปรอบๆ แ่บนนี้มืริๆ เลย แล้วนอมิี่็เป็นสีำะ้วย มืแบบนี้เธอะหามันเอไ้ยัไันล่ะเนี่ย
“มิ...” เสียอเลย์ล่าาหายไปเมื่อเธอสะุเ้าับอะไรบาอย่าบนพื้นนเือบล้มว่ำล
อะไรหว่า?
เลย์ล่ารู้สึเหมือนับว่ามีอะไรสัอย่าอยู่ที่พื้นแ่เธอมออะไรไม่เห็น ันั้นเธอเลยหยิบมือถือออมาเปิไฟาย หวัว่าที่เธอเพิ่เหยียบไปเมื่อี้ะไม่ใ่เ้ามิี่นะ
