Jaehyun is a beta.
Taeyong doesn’t know how he should feel about this info, but there’s one thing he knows, and that is the company will be happy about this. In their point of view, having a beta artist are better than having an alpha or omega artist which will give them never-ending anxiety about rut and heat for sure.
Jaehyun looks happy too. The boy smiles so widely his eyes almost close, and the dimple is clearly on show.
“And here I thought our Jaehyunnie will present as an omega, look at how adorable he is!” Johnny says loudly while steps close to Jaehyun to give the boy a big hug. The said boy laugh happily, clearly enjoys being showered with affection from his hyung.
“It’s better being a beta like this. If I end up as an omega, I will not be able to play with you like this. With Taeyong hyung and Yuta hyung too.”
“So in our group, it’s 6 alphas and 2 betas then.” Doyoung summarizes. In Taeyong's opinion, he looks kind of relief, and Taeyong thinks that it’s because he won't be the only beta in their group anymore now they have Jaehyun.
“From now on, please continue taking care of me, hyungs!” Jaehyun says, hugs Johnny one last time before pushes Johnny's arms off himself to go to hug the other, start with Yuta, Doyoung and then him. Taeyong hugs the boy back as tight as he can, feels happy to see his most favorite younger brother’s happiness too, though deep down inside his chest feels a bit of sadness.
He doesn’t why he’s feeling like that, but the answer of this strange feeling can be waited.
There’s nothing more important than Jaehyunnie who is in his embrace now after all…
