   “What do you two talking about?” Beta asked, she was suddenly behind us, appear without anyone noticing seemed to be her special ability.

   “Nothing special” Said I.

   “Alpha wants to see you, let’s go.”

   We entered the throne room, which was as impressive as ever, sitting on the throne was the same old Alpha, Gamma was leaning against the seat, telling something to him.

   “And he was like ‘how the situation moving so fast? I was literally 2 steps behind you’”

   Alpha seemed to smile. When he saw us, he turned and said “The chosen two, how was your training?”

   “Never have any lesson this interesting in my life.” I said.

  He turned to Beta “How was their skill?”

  “They only train for 2 weeks but they as skills as 2 years” Beta said sumgingly.

   Which was true, 3 days ago Ava got into a problem with one of the magician, he nearly cried for mercy when she was showing my magic.

   “Very well” said Alpha “they shall receive their first mission.”

   “What?”

   “One can learn the best by doing, and being magician is mostly about doing mission.”

   Alpha made some sort of signal to Gamma, he signed a little bit and gave us a piece of paper.

   “Your mission is to locate one of our best magician, Zeta.”

   “Noticing the theme here” Ava suddenly said.

   Smartly, Alpha ignored her, “1 month ago, I gave him a mission to eliminate the rebel magician base in Texas, but now he disappear, no one can contact him, and its your job to bring him back.”

  I looked at the paper, it was a map that show one part of Texas, there also a red circle with a text said ‘Around here somewhere’

   “You shall leave to the Texas fort at noon; I suggest you should go packing now.”

  “Wait” I realized something “How do we supposed to find him if we don’t know what he look like.”

   Alpha smiled, “You will know it him when you saw, let’s just say he was my other half.”

   That was just unhelpful, but got to go with the plot. Fast forward to the time we leave. We went to the center artifact and summon a portal; I guess it was easier when you can control your magic better.

   We turned to Beta, which came to said good luck; I asked “Any advice?”

   “Whatever happens, don’t trust him.”

   Her voice said she wasn’t joking.

   When we arrived at Texas fort, they gave us a warm welcome; they bought us two magic horses and cowboy hats. We rode the horse to the direction where Zeta went missing. 1 hour later, we arrived at the edge of the circle.

   “What do we do now?” I asked Ava.

   She shrugged her shoulder “Let’s just go around and wait for the problem to found us.”

   Fair enough, it did. We only rode around for 2 minute when we met the rebel magicians.A bolt of lightning shot our horses was how we noticed them. They turned into a wax piles revealing that it really are a magical horses.

   There seem to be made up of 3 people, hiding on a steep. One guy jumped down the hill, pulling out a spear. I took out my sword and summoned my combat avatar. He thrown the spear at me, but I skillfully caught it with my hand.

   My opponent smile “parivatan”

   The spear turned into a snake, it wiggled around my avatar’s arm and buried its fangs into it. I felt the pain even though it didn’t actually my body. That one of the flaw in using combat avatar.

   I used my sword to chop the snake in half and ran toward the attacker. He pulled out another spear, I slashed, he blocked.

   “preamium!” I shouted. He was knocked back a few meter, I lower my combat avatar sizes to increase my speed. I dashed toward him, my elbow hit his head and knocked him down for good.

   "Any help here!" Ava shouted, when I turned to her, she was dueling with the other two magicians on her own, and seem to be losing.

   [I wasn't trying to make you look weak, Ava, it just that everybody got a bad day.]

   So I jumped in to help, I thrown my sword, aim to hit my opponent forehead, but he cast a protection spell to guard. The other magician spoke a divine word. It was the Latin word for 'disaster'.

    "Ava! Duck!" I shouted, but she didn't react fast enough. So I jumped over her to used myself as a protection. And my twice as big and twice as heavy from normal me avatar landed over her.

   To be honest, that probably wasn't my brightest move.

    5 seconds have passed, nothing happened.

    I vaporized my avatar away, then Ava forcefully pushed me away from her, when I turned to see what happened to my enemys.

   They both were knocked unconscious, lying on the ground. Over them was...

   "Alpha?"

    The guy was definably Alpha, but the way he looked was totally different.

    "I planned to just follow along and look from afar. But I guessed you two need help so, sure, I will help you."
