Hello…hello? Ava! Is this thing even working?

Ouch! Ouch! I will start the darn thing! OK? Just stop hitting me.

If you were hearing this voice record, you might be one of us. And your life was probably in danger. After finish this records, just stay alert, even gods don’t know when whose side found you first.

I should back up my story a bit.

My name is Jordan Anker, 14, and my life sucks.

My mom died when I was 10, since then, my family started some kind of parent civil war. I and my younger sister hadsuffered thought this thing. Gramps and Grand wanted us, or in particularly wanted one of us. So ‘our family’ went though some court thing and they won.

My dad got to kept me, and they got to keep my sister.

Dad and my grandparent lived in each side of the America, dad lives in Brooklyn, and they lives in Florida, so my sister and I go to different school, have different environment, and we could only met each other twice a year.

School was harsh, I told you, bully, smug, teacher who don’t even care a bit about you… and so on. It felt good to came back home and found Dad, but that rarely happen. Dad was an Archaeologist; he always came home late, or came at all. So I was left alone in the house, sad, all alone…

[And yes, Ava, I was try my best to make it sound not depressing]

That was my past, fast forward to where our story begins.

I was sitting in the back of my Dad’s car, staring at the atmosphere of Florida. My dad was driving while listening to a Jazz music. He got a brown long hair, cinnamon color eyes, a day old beard, wearing a white shirt and brown long pants. He was already in his 40s, but he somehow managed to look only about 30.

“Do you ready to see your sister?” Dad asks me.

       “Not really.”

“Good, because this might end up bad.”

I raised my head “What do you mean by that matter?”

       “You’ll see.”

I was somewhat scared by that, I was about to ask more when the car stop in front of my Grandparent house.

The house doesn’t look new, but somewhat homey, with a nice garden cover with a December snow, and a plain white door.

I walk to the front door, Dad stay in the car; probably he doesn’t want to make trouble. But before I knock, the door slams open, revealing my sister, Ava.

[Right now, she was standing beside me, so I probably should describe her well or I end up lying in the floor, covers in blood]

She got light blond hair, the front part dyes with bright blue. Which match her eyes, which is also light blue. She was only 12, but she is nearly as tall as me. She wearing a ‘go out with dad outfits’, which is consists of, black T-shirt, grey jacket, a blood red skirt and a combat boots, like she was going to concert and hope to crushing someone.

       “You were late.” She said.

I looked at my watch, “3 minutes.”

She turned back to the house “Gramps! Grand! I’m going out!”

I don’t actually sure what they replied, but it probably “Don’t let them in!”

“Come on, let go.” Ava said.

We got into the car, and as usual, Sadie crossed her legs and put on her headphones.

“Well then,” My dad said “Let’s go, we got a long day.”

    .

    .

    .

“What do you mean you arrange a new school for us?!” Ava screams.

“We were in the 4 stars restaurant and Dad just announced something really important.

“Children, I know it hard to understand but I prepared it for years now, it’s your destiny.”

       “Did Gramps know about this?”

“No, but I will explain to them later, they knows this will come some days.”

She turns to me.”Jordan! Help me argue!”

I was shock too, but different kind of shock from her. I always wanted to talk to Dad about moving school, but now the opportunity is laid itself upon me.

So I said “Nah, when do we go?”

Dad smiled, probably saw my excitement “They were actually coming here right now.”

       “What! AHHHH!”

Ava started to calm down “Dad, can you explain about this?”

“Well… there something I want to tell you for sometimes now. Hah… how do I say it? Archaeologist was not my only job, I also a ma—“

And that when thing starts to go wrong.
