Finally! My long-awaited exciting part!
So some days after last chapter, we were
having breakfast which Shan made herself [Which is probably why she was the
first one to be back, local Mc was really start to get boring.] When there was a
knock on the front door.
“I got it.” I walked to the door and opened
it, there a 4 feet long snake outside.
Okay, if you see this thing in your front
door, you definitely freaked out and called animal control, but me? After 1 and
a half month of being a magician, this is kinda 'nah'.
“What is it?” I asked.
It spitted out a letter and left.
I picked up the letter, which was
surprisingly clean, when I opened it, the text was wrote in a wtf language.

I brought it to Zeta who I hoped knew what
it meant, he read it for a while, and said, “It from Gamma.”
‘That will explain the snake’ I thought to myself,
or maybe Mars was talking to me, it started to get really confusing.
“He give us a mission in Seattle.” Zeta
said, “Packed your stuff, we leaving at…”
“Let’s me guess” Ava said, “At noon.”
“How did you know?”
Ava signed.
So at noon, we all ready for a trip to
Seattle, Zeta opened a portal, and we walked in.
Seattle was a really beautiful city,
don’t get me wrong, but I think several fire hazard ruined the effect.
As we were walking thought the town, we
noticed there a fire truck drove all over, and a lot of burning building.
“So where can we find the causer of this
incident?” I asked, “This town was really big, we might needed to be here for
days.”
“There it is.” Said Zeta.
At the Space needle, the thing that was a
landmark of Seattle, it’s…hard to describe, just googled it. The top of the
tower was a careless combination of wood and iron and concrete and other junks
mixed together into a shape looked like a nest.
Inside was a giant dragon, like a 20 foots
long dragon, it had a brown scales, a razor sharp claws and a
when-hit-your-face-you-die whip like tail. It seem to be sleeping, groaning out
a smoke from its nose.
“let’s get a closer look.” Said Zeta, he too
Ava’s shoulders and fly up. Shan turned into a harpy [She can do that.] and
grabbed me by the shoulders with her claws [Ouch].
When we up in the sky, we saw the inside of
the nest, which was filled with a 1 foot long white bone-like object.
“Is that…?”
“It’s dragon’s teeth.” Said Shan, “From the
dropping of the teeth, we are looking at a Greek dragon.”
“So we judging the mythology it’s from from
the rate of teeth drop?” Ava asked.
“Apparently”
“Well” Zeta said and brought out his sword,
“Dragon’s skins do sell well in black market.”
I didn’t know how the next thing happened
happened, the dragon probably heard an indirect death threat or something,
because it’s suddenly noticed us. It spread its wings, which was 25 foots from
one side to another, and fly toward us.
“Sh*t” said Zeta “Retreat!”
We flown to the opposite direction the
dragon coming, but the dragon just simply blasted a freaking ball of fire at
us. But luckily Zeta was on our side, he blasted out a torpedo shot of water to
stop the attack. But the fire still hit us and burned both of Zeta’s and Shan’s
wings.
The dragon blasted another ball of fire, but
Zeta opened a portal and we escaped.
We appeared again at the ground below the
space needle.
“Now what?” Ava asked.
“Well.” Zeta said, “This dragon was too
strong for me to face head on, and that is saying something. But don’t worry, I
have a plan…”
So the plan is that Shan and Zeta was going
to distracted the dragon, and Ava and I would check out its nest to find
something that we could use against it.
So I was really against it, seeing how many
possibility that it could go wrong, but Zeta did the eye thing and I agreed.
We rode on a lift to the top of the needle
and open the trapdoor on the roof, we cut though a mix of a wood and metal and
appeared in the nest.
When we came up, we could felt the wind that
the dragon’s wings create when it flown into the sky to caught Zeta and Shan. I
turned to my sister, and I saw her shaking a little bit.
I got to be honest with you, if not counting
the minotaur back in chapter 2, this actually the first monster we against. All
the other time we just fought a magician.
I padded her back, “We got this.”
[Granted, I was as scared as her but it seem
big brother-ish to do so.]
The nest was exactly as I described earlier,
a mix of wood and metal and dragon’s teeth lying around.
I grabbed up the tooth and looked at it.
“It like a dinosaur’s tooth.”
‘Of cause it is’ Mars said ‘What you mortals
call dinosaur is just a child of a dragon in ancient time.’
‘The child of what?’
“Jordan!” Ava called me. “I think I found
something!”
In front of us was an egg bigger than an ostrich’s,
its color was black with a red stripe.
“What?” I said.
“This should be what we looking for.” Ava
said and try to lift the egg.
Suddenly a shadow landed upon us, the dragon had returned.
