Hey Ava, I was wondering, why you always get the exciting parts and I get the explaining parts, let me check the que real quick.

That night Kate visited me again, we had a little talk about what I’m up to and all that stuffs, but when I told her Zeta took Ava and me to restart the 66th fort, she warned me.

‘I never met him but he was basically a legend, a really really horrible legend that give people nightmare. Be careful, he must be up to no good.’

When I wake up in my new room, I dressed up, and tried to locate where the heck the main hall was. When I finally arrived, I found Ava sitting on the sofa. Today she dyed her hair green, she wore brown jacket over a purple T-shirt and a jean. In her hand was a guitar she found which she used to play one of the song I don’t know of.

[Ava can play guitar, did I mention that? And yes sis, it was officially my joke.]

She turned to me. “Good morning.”

I sat beside her, and I realized that since the start of our adventure, we always have some people with us, this was the first time we were actually alone together. That somehow made me uncomfortable.

And before you saying ‘Dude, that was your sister.’ I wanna said that we never really be together all that much, we more of a distant cousin, and do you ever been in a room with your distance-cousin alone before? It was freaking nerve racking.

I tried to open a conversation "You can go back now."

        She turned to me "What?"

'Arkward' Mars said, revealing his second trait, annoying.

"We in US now, and the school semester is barely start, you can open a portal back to Florida and continue your normal life."

She stopped the song she was playing "I never thought of that."

There was a silent for some times when Ava finally said "I don't know Jordan, I feel like we far past the point to turning back, whatever crap is happening, I just can't left it to you nor anyone else, It just like fate has already chosen us. Oh god I hate fate."

"Be careful, there's actually a god of fate."

"You kidding. Come to think about it, we barely know about each other's personal life, aren't we?"

        "Seem so"

“Why don’t we talk about it, just to pass time?”

       “I…guess”

“Okay I will start first, my story start like this…”

This is gonna sound weird for me to telling you a story of my sister, but just bare it with me now.

According to Ava, she was a ‘coolest kid’ in school, the kid who every other kid liked. She didn’t score that great in the test, but she said it didn’t matter to her. She loved to pull out pranks to at the teacher which was why they hated her and using every opportunity to punished her and make her looked bad. Which was very ineffective because she got basically the rest of the school on her side.

As she was talking, I could see the happiness in her eye, like she was having a good time. She told me how she met her best friends, mac and heather. How she form a band and how she exploded the teacher restroom.

When she finished, she looked very happy but yet very depress, probably because she had just recall the thing she never going to get back.

“Wow” I said. “Your life was that good, but you still don’t want to go back.”

“It just…” Ava said. “I cannot see how my new life will fit in my old one, but enough about me, let’s talk about you for a change.”

“Okay” I strapped myself “This's gonna bring some painful memory.”

As you might remember, my life totally suck, I always got bully, both physically and mentally, they always called me nerd, geek and many more, they loved to pushed me to the ground and stealing my lunch money. I always scored good or even the best at school, but that didn’t affected my school life at all. Once or twice, I told the teachers at my school how I was treated, so the next day we had an assembly about how we shouldn’t bully each other and that pretty much did nothing. I got it that they trying to help but they just didn’t know what worked and what didn’t. And there actually some teacher who torment me like those bullies. My life was full of depress and sometime even anger. I felt like I was just a worthless good-for-nothing human being…

When I finished and turned to Ava, she was nearly crying “I…never thought your life was that bad, bro-bro.”

Bro-bro…she never called me that since we were apart, I was somewhat missed it.

“Stop it right here.” I said, trying to change the mood. “We only feel depress thinking about my past, the point of the past is that we already passed thought it (pun intended), let’s do something else.”

We stopped for a while when Ava said “What about exploring?”

        “I can’t see why not.”

So for the rest of that day, and for the next couple day, we walked around the mansion, which I tell you was super huge and super random, we found a stable, a blacksmith room, a ball room, a prison cell, a torture room, a film-making room and much more. And it also seem that it’s just only a tip of the iceberg.

[Jeez Ava, it mean that we only found a small amount of it, how hard it's take to understand?]

So in one day morning, Zeta walked into the main hall, wearing a black shirt and a combat boot.

He turned to us “Got a good rest?”

       “I guess…” I said.

“Well, prepare yourself! We got a quest to do!”

       “Why?” I asked.

“Well, there still 5 chapters left until something significant to the plot going to happen, so we have time to do some plot-unrelated stuffs.”

       “What kind of quest?”

“Personal” Zeta said, and then realized that he needed to be more specific. “We gonna go find my friend.”

       “Who?”

He pointed at the statue that didn’t holding anything. “Since we lost the war, my team and I hadn’t met for quite a while, but this one in particular friend is still in Brooklyn. I can sense it!”

“Like the way you sense yourself in the rebel’s camp?” Ava asked.

“That time I was just lying, now go get your stuffs, we leave at noon.”
