    Scared of the supernatural and an unknown cause of Hysteria , people in Salem village (present-day Danvers , Massachusetts) believe that the cause of Hysteria comes from a devil's magic which finally leads to a terribly unforgettable event . More than 20 people were executed as a result of the Salem witch trials . Due to in the past science is not yet being fully developed , people in Salem village trustfully believes that the Hysteria of the students in the village which is main cause of the Salem witch trials was happened because of a devil's magic . No one would ever think that the real cause of this craziness event would come from a Fungi .

    The Salem witch trials are one of the most famous event happened between February 1692 and may 1693 in colonial Massachusetts. Everything started in January of 1692 , 9-year-old Elizabeth Parris and 11-year-old Abigail Williams (the daughter and niece of the minister of Salem Village) began to have a Hysteria symptoms . They began to convulse, scream and  throw things around. Having diagnosed those symptoms by a local doctor as a bewitchment, everybody in the village trustfully believe that the Hysteria was caused by a devil's magic . After that other young girls in the village began to show the same symptoms . People in the village began to seriously search for a witch who they believe to bring a devil's magic into they village. As time passed , more than 20 peoples were executed as they were accused to be a witch .19 victims were hung at Proctor’s Ledge, near Gallows hill, one person was tortured to death and some died in prison (including two infant children) . The Salem witch trials ended as the Hysteria slowly disappeared from the village and the townspeople were begun to discontented with the trials, and finally no one supported the accusations anymore .
