    III.

Dennis was disappeared in the reality even in the dreams. Why? Rosainta asked herself but she knew the answer as well, simply, because his appearance was just an imagination of her, just in her head. She had been creating him in the dreams for a weak that caused she had to wait in vain in the reality and also in the dream of tonight. Dennis had never existed, that was all the reasons.

However, Rosainta thought back to Mary, the elderly woman who call that man a name and talked something about the dreams even no one had never told her anything.

“So confused, Mary, Dennis, who are both of you exactly?” Rosainta groaned and frowned.

She turned to glance at the diffuse mist around the park, the atmosphere looked like a night but she was able to see everything in the place. Quietly, the silence was the best friend here. She stood up, beginning to walk around and looking for the man who should be here. Sometimes she thought that if he was her imagination, she had to concentrate to him. But when she tried, nothing had changed. She was still alone in this place as before.

The more she was surrounded by the mist, the more she was nervous. The mist was no longer fantasized anymore. Dreadful, Rosainta was more confused, she knew what the truth should be but she did not want to accept, still looking for Dennis and trusting in his existence. Lastly, she began to shout for him, calling him a name. “Dennis! You’re still here?” Certainly, there was no one responding.

The walking around had changed to the walking away. Indiscriminately, Rosainta walked in mess and was nonstop to call Dennis at the same time. Barefoot strides took her far from the green-wooded bench. A path led her to the darker area, away from the roses and the clock, and very far away from the park as she had ever dreamed to. Then she finally forgot herself in the dreams. She got lost.

“Dennis!” As loudly, Rosainta shouted and awoke with a start, in the morning, and not only excitedly heart beat, but also she broke out in a sweat. She was still dread even had awoken already. It was no longer the sweet dreams as before, she called the latest dream as a nightmare.

A moment, Rosainta hardly thought of what happened in the latest weird dream, she sighed. Then she very tried to ignore the answers even the confusions ran around her mind. She move to take a shower, after dressing she got to the kitchen, her mother was cooking a breakfast.

“Good day mom,” Rosainta said and hugged her mom lovely.

Mother smiled back and said to Rosainta while placing a few dishes of breakfast on a table. “Woopy gutana ramoo ju RooRoo wooda wooba.”

“Yes?” Rosainta raised her eyebrows with a stunning.

    “Nawoo? RooRoo nawoo?”

“Mom, what a joking,” Rosainta giggled but had to stop suddenly with mother’s fierce-looking. At that moment, Rosainta’s father arrived and sat on a chair.

“Tooma nara woo,” father said like a greeting in the morning, usual voice but a weird words.

    “Dad?”

“Tamawa soogi noori balaya rowoo RooRoo.”

    “Okay, enough, I’m not funny.”

“Sawadoo!” Her mother angrily said with a loud tone.

“Pooja! Payoo waratoori bawoola!” Father also said the weird words again.

What a tongue! Rosainta was very scared and full of doubts. She stared at her parents a moment then hurried out of the breakfast and headed towards to the university. Some of weird words of her parents chased after. She hardly thought all of the time along her way.

Accidentally, she saw her both of close-friends, Jenny and Patty, at another side of the soccer field once she had reached to the university already. Shouting and moving up to them and just about a few seconds Rosainta then got to her friends, and was unexpected the weird tongue which sounded like what her parents had said before. But Oh! God why? Her mind groaned. There might be something unusual at this moment because even her friends also said oddly.

    “Woopi karamoo kawoo javy raumida.”

    “W...What!” Rosainta faltered unbelievably.

“Balooba RooRoo nawoo? Yama syla na doofagi joomey muttilawase vivifeds.”

Much being stunned, Rosainta was assured the weird words as they said, which were not in French, Italian, German, or else of the languages on the earth. However, it was impossible that her parents and her friends had made an appointment to speak a weird tongue as same.

Then, Jenny and Patty stared at Rosainta with their doubts and were attempting to touch her but she was very scared, stepping back and running away, leaving their calling behind.

Confusing Rosainta slipped away to the canteen, pushing the door. She shocked suddenly and paled, sweating to hear a crowd voice in the canteen. Many people were speaking the weird tongue as she had never known before but it sounded like the language which her parents and her friends had spoken previously. She broadly opened her eyes, fearfully, slow strides and looking around. No matter who, she could say with assurance, all of them were speaking a weird tongue as same.

Actually, they were not speaking a weird tongue. It was just that her language was different from them. She was only one who could not speak like that.

“What happened?” Rosainta faintly said to herself and walked out the canteen absently. “I don’t know why as if it’s the dreams.”

Being conscious very well but these situations might be unusual. Then a caution which she almost forgot was appeared in her head immediately, a hoarse voice from the elderly woman, Mary.

“Whenever you’re falling in unusual situations or encountering something is just weird around you, I will wait here to help you.”

That meant Mary had known throughout what will happen. Unbelievably, but Rosainta had a sense of relief. Even Mary was a weird elderly, trusting her caution was better than being alone in the weird tongue speaking. She knew where Mary is, no hesitation, she moved up there as quickly.

In the long running, Rosainta arrived at the exhibition building, entering and heading to her painting. Over there, she saw the elderly woman was standing and looking over the painting.

“Mary,” Rosainta hurried to the elderly and called.

The elderly turned back to face Rosainta, she also dressed a grey coat with a black brimmed hat and a couple of black thin gloves. The sad eyes were bright with a kind of smile.

“You, Mary, you know the dreams and Dennis as well even I’ve never told you anything, and right now, you know that I’m falling in the bad situations, you know everything, you know what a weird thing will be, so you warned me a caution, that’s all right?”

“Derawoo nawoo gupiyowa payoo fidu nawoo?”

“N..No! Why not? Even you…,” as very fearfully, more than before, Rosainta was stunned as if she had become a statue of arts.

“I’m sorry a little girl, I’m just kidding, and I’m coming to help you as I had ever said.”

“Mary!” Rosainta was very very pleased, almost cried, she relieved certainly because at least there was someone who spoke a same tongue. She rushed into Mary’s arms, hugging and trusting with assurance.

As long as staying with Mary, Rosainta believed that all the answers will be revealed soon including the big ones she would know extremely, about Dennis, an imagination of her mind but her heart still trusted in his existence. Whether he was in the reality or the dreams, the questions were, who is he exactly and where he is right now?
