ลำดับตอนที่ #3 : Priorum (II)
At the top of the Northstar Peak, under a moonlit night with billions of stars shining bright amidst cloudless sky, where the edge of the world touched with blackness of the universe, a spec of dust, a most holy dust from the essence of Elema, laid rest. And there, the Celerites were born, in the image of their creator, no less. Their skins were smooth and impeccable. They gleamed under starlight like pure gold. Their silver hair wavered along with the cool breeze of the mountain, glittering like a trail of countless stars. Tall stature with calming yet firm grace and poise, they were the most elegant of those who dwelled on Lahya.
Imbued with magic from the stars, they were the wisest of all children of Mielil. Also first-born, they were immortal through reincarnation of their essence. Death and rebirth, like that of the stars which granted them power. And through the ages, they carried endless pool of wisdom and insights accrued generations by generations. Dwelling in Celerona, the Golden Kingdom, above the Northstar Peak, where the mountains were lifted into the sky and turned into impenetrable fortress, they funneled the birth of civilization on Lahya.
Alla, the second-born -- deep charcoaled skins with fiery eyes, they spawned in the deepest chasm of the worlds, where the holy dust of Elema touched the pit of infinite darkness. Gifted with brute force and physical prowess, they were among the greatest warriors to walk the world. Their homeland, Allajawah, was settled in the Mouth of the World, west of the Treacherous Seas. There, they forged a kingdom of metal, stones and fire. And through centuries, they dwelled in the underworld, waging wars against all abominations that should forever be forbidden from walking the lands. Little of them is known to the outside world for only a handful ever wandered beyond the Kingdom of Fire.
Imbued with the magic of inferno and darkness, their blood ran hot like molten lava as their hearts and souls were constantly diving in the flame of resolution to their faith, which is second to none. Natural zealots, they swore an oath to never bend from their holy teachings, often times sparking conflicts with other races.
Men, third-born, sprung with skins of varied colors. Where the blessing of Elema touched the land, they inherited a gift of imagination and courage. They are great rulers, speakers and tradesmen. Settled down in the plain of Anaba near the river of Magarmoth to the far east of the Golden Forest, they built Tidareth, the greatest fortress and a central power of their world. With their rules and children reaching every crack and corner of Lahya, they were the most known race, and hated by many.
Imbued with magic from the soil, they are builders of civilizations -- ever spreading, ever growing. But like terrains that are constantly shifting, their hearts are envious and easily corrupted. Their tongues are forked and their words are cunning. Despite their leadership and stern hearts, they are never to be trusted all so easily.
Mermi, fourth-born, the youngest of the superior races, came to life when the dust of Elema touched the Calming Seas. Born in the middle of the night, when the crystal clear water gleamed and glowed under the full-moon and the breeze of the ocean sang the most enchanting songs, they are the most curious -- forever wandering, forever questioning. Without their settled kingdom, from birth to death, they wandered all over Lahya, seeking endlessly for adventures and the worlds all so intriguing to them.
Imbued with the magic of the water, their hearts were gifted with purity. But like an inexperienced child, they often fell preys to tricks and treachery used by those who seek to benefit from their innocence. And like blank canvas, their child-like hearts are only waiting to be swayed and influenced by all shades of colors.
And those were the tales of the four superior sentient races of Lahya. The children that inherited the legacy from Elema herself. But would that give them enough power to fight against their fate?
