Ton ordered Chon to get a new nametag and this made one of Chon's school staffs unhappy. She complained a lot to Chon until Ton came to get Chon she stopped because she's one of Ton's admirers. So she stopped complaining and gave Chon a new nametag easily.
On the first day at school, Chon lost on campus and spent time longer than others, quite typical for Chon, just to look for the classrooms. He's also getting some strange staring from strangers, mostly guys, from his school with some gossip voices that 'Chonlatee is Ton's little brother. Don't even think about asking him out.'
This was a good thing but also could bring something bad to Chon's life as well. For example at lunch in the central canteen, there was a very tall guy who came to talk to him.
"Are you Ton's little brother? I hate him. So now I hate you too."
"Ok!?!?"
Chon wasn't sure how to react to that statement. Meanwhile, there were also some strange things that happened to him as well. For example, there was a guy coming to ask him to sit with his 'gang'. He said he's a good friend of Ton. He said his name is Max and he really likes Chon. Chon made his heart rate raised up so high every time he sees Chon. Chon didn't want to be in that awkward situation so he looked for someone and found Nai. Nai came to take Chon away from that gang and explained to Chon that the gang he was with a minute ago is one of the bad news. Chon should stay away from them. Max once lost a basketball game to Ton and he's still mad at Ton.
Chon wondered why he didn't see Ai. Nai explained Ai had to calm Ton down because they just met Amp. She hadn't given up on asking Ton to come back to her. Chon seemed to be very interested in this, so Nai teased if Chon was being possessive to Ton. Chon refused immediately.
Nai explained more that this time Ton seemed to be quite certain not to go back to Amp. He told Chon that Amp 'talked' to someone while dating Ton. Amp admitted that he had a feeling for the new guy because he took very good care of her at first. But then she found out that he's quite a player, so she came back to Ton.
Today, after knowing that Ton didn't want to go back to her, she slapped Ton on his face. Chon felt that he wanted to be right next to Ton at that moment, so he asked Nai. Nai called Ai and got the location.
Chon walked to an engineering building and he could smell Ton's perfume from afar, so he followed that lead until he met Ton. Ai and In were there. As soon as they saw Chon, they left Ton with Chon. Ton asked if Chon didn't have any classes. Chon replied he only had one morning class.
Chon kneeled down to look on Ton's face closely.
"Hurt?"
"Numb now."
"Your face or your heart?"
"Both I guess. Let's change the topic. It was my fault to be rude to her first. I deserve this."
"You always helped me. Please let me do something for you this time."
"Just sit here with me, would you?"
"I remember you have an afternoon class."
"Nobody teaches anything on the first lecture."
"Shall we get some steak? My treat."
Chon stood up and gave Ton's both hands offering to pull him up.
"She doesn't like steak, but I do. Whatever you wanna do. Whatever you wanna eat. I'll be on your side always."
"I was sitting here being upset with Ai and In for quite sometimes. I didn't even have any energy to stand up, but when you asked me to have some steak with you, I totally forget what I had been upset about. Do you know something, Chon? You are truly my comfort zone."
Ton caught Chon's hands and hold them together. Those hands have a size difference but the warmness and care for each other are equally the same.
"I feel comfortable being with you too."
"My baby Chon."
"Hmm?"
Yes, it made Chon blushed... A big impact and it was a strong one.
"I wanna call you that too. Cute and perfect for you. Do you know that so many guys adore you? I'm sure you'll get the most popular vote this year. I don't think you need any rose from me anymore."
"But I want some from you. Buy some for me, please. Just think of it as a repay for this meal."
"Ok, if you want some. I'll get you some. But let me pay this time. You came too far to comfort me. Let me buy you dinner."
Ton didn't let go of Chon's hands. He grabbed even tighter then pulled himself to stand up. Ton walked down two steps of stairs and turned around. They both had the same height from this angle.
"If you are a girl, I'll be dating you by now, Chon."
"But I'm not. (Can't we date?)"
"You don't have to be shocked. I know you are a guy. And I'm a guy. Just forget what I said. My brain might not be functioning properly after that slap."
"Please don't tease me again like that. It makes me feel strange."
"Fine. Follow me, you, shorty."
"Ok... Wait for me."
Ton walked away so fast and Chon had to run to follow Ton. Chon looked at that board shoulders and wondered... Should he move on from Ton or stick with this feeling?
