She is traveling with the gypsy.

    The drifters like her.

She earn her living by telling people fortune, the lady who took her in told her that she was talented and has the most mysterious air around her. She only gives her a slight nod for her praise.

Crystal Ball and Tarot Cards are only props. She only needs them to conceal her ability.

She told a girl who want to get out of town to pursue her dream.

She told a man that his soldier son is alive although not well, but he will be back home, just be there when he return to give the warm welcome.

Many people already have answer in their heart. She merely told them to go with their decision. These people do not need a future told. They already decide it.

    Here’s come the customer.

This person has no future for he took many futures from others.

She can see that he is gravely ill, but he wants hope.

His time is coming up, she ask him honestly about his health, She did not tell him how to cure it for his time is absolute, but she can tell him one thing to put his mind at ease.

Sure there will be people happy about his dead, he is a man with many enemies. His families will be left with complicated situation. He cannot hope to find any one in his family to truly weep for him from their heart.

This man is brutal, but he also wants some one to be brutal to him, for now he feels vulnerable and regret his past action.

    Deeply he wished for punishment.

    Then who will…

It’s not a question he wants an answer to.

If he does not mind a stranger, she will.

She sees his past and how that made him rough and never trust anyone again.

No man born bad or good.

“You were not born bad, Ukii. You choose to be bad, and let’s be honest you do not feel regret for your action for you never now how else to act. It’s how you learn to survive. And you are too afraid of trying the new thing. Am I right?”, she told him honestly.

For the first time he look vulnerable like a human being.

“You do not have the heart of stone Ukii, for you know how to cry”, she said again and took his boney hands.

She never touch any client hand, but she does now.

To show him the comfort and kindness from a complete stranger.

This is all she can offer to him. And he does not need more than this.

“The person who cry doesn’t mean they are weak, you should cherish those tears for they say you have feeling.”

She knows how much time he has left, but she did not tell him.

He walked from my tent a different man, not in appearance, but in perspective.

She went to his funeral, and sees the relative shed fake tears. They are a great actor…except for one little boy.

He did not go in the church or rather he wasn’t allowed. She overheard to gossiping that he is the illegitimate child of the death old man who took the liking on one of the maid so long ago.

The boy did not weep. He simply froze like a stone, very much alike Count Ukii.

That expressless face…too mature for a child. But she can see it in his eyes. This boy is hurt and sad by the passing of Count Ukii. More than anyone add up together in the church.

She walked over to him. He saw her mourning outfit but said nothing.

She told him she is Count Ukii acquaintance, not quite friend as she only met him once.

He asked her why should she come to the funeral of a man she met only once.

She told him she promised the man to cry for him.

He asked her did the man paid her to do that.

It sound almost like a joke but his voice expresses that he only stating the obvious.

She simply shakes her head. And told him that he is the one to do it for his tears would mean more.

    The boy stays silent.

She could see it that the boy respect his father, although a hard hearted man any never show him kindness, but he is never cruel to him like others.

He wants to be strong like his father.

She told him the same thing she told count Ukii, that tears do not mean weakness.

After that she grab his hand and took him into the church, the boy did not resist.

The guard tried to stop them as we enter the church, but she took of her veil and walk through.

The church became silent…people too stun to fake the sobbing and tears.

They walk to the alter and let the boy pay respect.

He weeps and shed tears. The real tears.

She watches him weeps and she does as promised to the old man.

    She wept.
