Why I was born?
That is the question that many beings try to find answer for.
People try to find the meaning in their life…their purpose for existence.
So many have the lifelong quest in finding their place on this world.
Is it to be the glorious leader of mankind?
Is it to leave behind the children of next generation?
Is it to fight and die for their belief and country?
Is it to have life full of adventures? To find the precious treasures or uncover the lost relics!
Is it to create and leave behind your soul in work of art, music, or poem?
Or is it simply to grow crops and live a simple life with the sun, the land and nature?
Such many paths one can take, but they all wind up back to the very core of their nature…
She learnt from her experiences that deep down inside everybody, no matter who you are or where you are from…
We want to matter.
For they know that nothing last and one day they will all meet and end.
That why men try so hard to leave the essence of who they are in this world.
To let people know that once you are here…That you are mattered in this vast world or to someone.
And that’s why she find life beautiful and precious…because it was so short and will be gone in the blink of the eyes of the Immortal…that’s why it is so special.
She watch many people live their life to the fullest and wonder what is the use of her immortality.
She does not know how or why she came into being…
Why was she granted with this fate of endless journey…what use it does for her and for others?
What she meant to the world?
Why she has this eternal youth and mysterious power no mankind should possess?
Is it to see the civilization emerge, bloom, and died down countless times?
To see the history and mistakes repeat itself for those who do not learn from the past.
To see an innocent baby grow into parents…to grandparents…leaving behind the next generation until they become ancestor.
To see so many births and so many deaths.
To see the repeated cycle of the beginning and the end?
May be…for her to learn life from the mortal one.
Then one day she found her purpose…or she believed that she does.
An encounter with a mortal whom by all mean has nothing special in the eyes of others.
But the moment she laid her eyes on him…She felt that she has been fulfilled. The sensation that she lived!
The feeling is unexplainable, but she just knew…SHE JUST KNEW
That she has been waiting for him all along…that to be with him is her purpose of the endless journey.
Her mysterious power seems to work around trying to make an encounter with this precious person of hers.
She can see what path she has to take to reach her goal.
Every time they part, her power will lead her through to another passage of time, so that she can encounter with her other half of soul.
Her other half…her purpose in this endless journey.
