The time really passed very fast. I could not believe that this was my last year at school. Before lunch, I met Anthony in the class. Girls were all around him. There was no chance that he would notice me. Anthony was the most popular boy in the school. He was very good in sports. All the girls would easily fall for him included me. He was always surrounded by all the hot cheer leaders wearing short skirts or tight T-shirts. I was not his type at all. I was good in studies. When he was the girls' favorite, I was the professors'. We were so much opposite. I knew it was just teenage crush. Nothing was going to happen between us for sure. Although there were times, when we had to sit and watch the interschool football games, my friends used to tease that he was really staring at me all the time. In the afternoon, I was in library with Samantha, Rose, Tina and Maria. Anthony walked in and pulled me out. I was surprised but I followed him till I was out of library. I removed my hand from his and shouted, "What are you doing?" He turned around and pinned me to the wall. I could smell his cologne. He looked into my eyes then said, "I know you liked me.” I was shocked. "I'll wait for you in front of the gate at 5:00PM this Friday for prom night!" He kissed me on my cheek and just walked away before I could say anything. I stood there for a while till all my friends came out from library. "What was all that?" asked Samantha. "He just asked me to go with him for the prom" Tina shouted immediately, "What? I just heard Nikita claiming to be his date in the wash room earlier!" "I think it's a prank...." But before I could say anything more, Rose cut me and said, "Nikita always lied about her hot dates! Last year she told the whole school that she was dating with my cousin." Maria just shook her head. "Look Sarah, this is our last year and we all know you like him so why not?" I was surprised to hear this from Maria. "Girls! Before you reach to any conclusion, let me tell you clearly that I'm not going with him. And I'm going to tell him now!" "Wait! Where would you find him?" asked Tina "In canteen probably. " I turned and walked towards canteen.
