After the eclipse of a big mess on The Castle of Two Sisters ,Aiden takes the carriage with Princess Celestia to the castle in Canterlot. Every pony’s eyes look at him that’s carrying Princess Celestia on his hands to the castle. Aiden spends all morning in recovery room to take care of princess. Aiden look out to the window up in the sky and sigh sadly. He’s still sad from this morning when Luna had gone resentful. Celestia wakes up at noon. She’s looking around and finds Aiden sitting on the chair next to her.
"Where am I?"She asks Aiden.
"Canterlot ,in your castle’s recovery room."Aiden says as Princess Celestia gets off from bed. she sighs and looks at Aiden.
"Cheer up ,princess... I know it a hard time for you... But... your duty still remain even Princess Luna is banished to the moons." Celestia blinks her eyes and wipes her tears.
"You are right Aiden... Follow me... I know my subjects is outside of the castle to wait for my explanation." Celestia leaves the recovery room to her Balcony where she has speech with her subjects. Every pony is looking forward to hear what happen in The Castle of Two Sisters.
"Citizen of Equestria. I know every pony wonders what happens to Luna... She has become Nightmare Moon... and it is all my fault... I never asks how she feels or talk with opened mind... I and Aiden banished her in the moon... Which mean I must take a responsible to control both sun and moon... from this moment I’ve realized that Luna wants friends to talk and have a good time together... thus that, this night will be called Nightmare Night ,the night that every pony have a great time at night together... For Luna. However, This eclipse I had seen a brave and faithful-.. uhm... What do you call yourself?" Every looks up at Princess Celestia as She turns her head to whisper with Aiden.
"Human."He smile and says.
"Human yes.. Aiden my friend from another world had shown us the power of harmony and faith. Without any question in my eyes.... and in every pony’s eyes. I ,Princess Celestia may appoint you in the new title, ‘The Protector of Harmony’. " Every pony cheers up with joy while Aiden step beside Celestia and takes his helmet off.
After Celestia's speech ,both Celestia and Aiden walk down along to the hallway where Celestia's throne is. We keep walking through the path where the windows are made by the stained glasses. Aiden look all over each stained glasses while he and princess keep walking.
"These stained glasses windows are the great storyteller about my duties and many important histories of Equestria . That one is when Discord, the spirit of disharmony ruled Equestria. Luna and I once fought against him and turned him into stone by using the Element of Harmony .Those are represent the prehistory of Equestria. And that one is--"
"About me." The strange voice of the aged pony came from the castle's entrance when Aiden look at the mysterious old pony in blue robes with the stars and moons on it same as the hat he wear. Celestia gasps with surprise when she has seen him.
"Mentor you should have told me before you come!" Celestia slowly walk down to the stairs and gives the mysterious pony a warm hug. Celestia turns to Aiden and says.
"Aiden, This is my mentor Starswirl the Bearded. Mentor, this is Aiden ,the Protector of Harmony an-"
"The Unkindled one I presume." With Starswirl words ,it makes Aiden stuns for a seconds with his eyes widen. I know that only each unkindled see the Darksign at each other eyes. But this pony doesn't have Darksign and how does he know?
"You are the infamous now since you had save Canterlot from the hydra. Now you save my student."Aiden blushes in shy.
"Ohh mentor stops flatters him you make Aiden shy!" Celestia says and giggles when she keep looking at Aiden. He quickly shakes his head and takes a deep breath.
"W... Well heheh It's just my duty as a protector. Now I must returns to Castle of Two Sisters to do something first." Aiden says. Celestia giggles even more. Aiden bows to both Starswirl and Celestia before he takes his leave.
"Ohh and Aiden. My library is open for you too, if you want to learn our magic." Aiden turns to him and nod his head and reaches his hand out to his side and thumb up.
"I will be back. My duty is ready tomorrow, isn't it?"He chuckles and walk away.
Aiden keep walking along the path to the Castle of Two Sisters where he set the bonfire on. the sun is setting down telling him it's will be the night time soon. He finally arrives and the bonfire is still in the same place but one different thing beyond the ruin of the castle is the human-like figure sitting near the bonfire. he's wearing the heavy and quite chubby armor with the onion-like helmet. Aiden's eyes widen once when he has seen the similar armor and snoring sounds. the stranger keep snoring as Aiden keep walking close to him.
"Could this be?... Siegward?" The stranger suddenly shakes his head and turn his face to Aiden.
"Hmmm...haaahh.. who ar---.... you!" The stranger says with his deep big kind voice in surprise when he sees Aiden.
"Yes... it's me..." Aiden looks at him. The stranger quickly gets up and gives Aiden a big hug.
"And yes I am Siegward! HAHAHAHA! How did you end up here, in Equestria!?"Siegward asks as He keep hugs Aiden tighter.
"uff! Well I am finding the way to end undead curse."He gasps and release the hug then says.
"Hmmm and return them their humanity?" Aiden nods and looks up to the the sun that's slowly rise up.
"Indeed. Well it's night now and today is the first day of Nightmare Night. Every pony in Canterlot is preparing the festival. We can talks and shares some experience in there." Aiden invite Siegward to the first Nightmare Night in Canterlot. Siegward smiles under his helmet and takes it off reveal his face. he is the matured male in mustache instead of Aide that have female-like face.
"But let me guess... we need to dress up right?"Siegward asks.
"Indeed." Aiden nods.
"Hmmm...I will make it simple then."Siegward take all his armor parts off leaving only the the clothes parts, weapon holster on his hip and put all the armors parts in the storage box. Same as Siegward ,Aiden take his Faraam armor's parts off but he also takes his top cloths off. Aiden looks down at his naked and quite feminine body with the old bandage cover all over his chest. Siegward sighs and says.
"You haven't changed at all from my eyes, my friend but... inside of you have changed a lot... how have you been?" Aiden smiles and makes a pigtail hairstyle. He turn his back to Siegward and unties the bandage on his chest off slowly and ties a new one.
"Well, After I defeated Cinder's Soul, I reject to link the first flame and ended the cycle of becoming cinder. So the age of fire has ended and the age of dark has begun. I found myself in the place called Everfree Forest. Princess Celestia found me in the forest and surrounded by the Timber Wolves. Then.... as you can see."Aiden says as he puts his cloths back on.
"So... Lothric now is full of the walking corpse?"Siegward asks.
"I don't know my friend... I left the kiln but it didn't bring me back to the shrine. Then I end up here, in Equestria." Aiden says as he turns back to Siegward. Both of them leave bonfire making their way to the Canterlot. A long moment of routing to Canterlot, they finally arrive at Canterlot. At this special night every pony is coming out from their homes with their fancy costume. The headlamps shaped in pony skull are hang down from the rooftop and the side way of the street have many carving pumpkins in many shape of pony face but the only one things that are the same at the top of each house. There are the steel plate shaped in Princess Luna's head. The stands of merchants, foods and ,goods were ready for every pony. Siegward looks around the Canterlot in such a beautiful night and looks at Aiden.
"What a beautiful night..." Aiden says in his big smile.
"Isn't it?" The voice of Princess Celestia coming along with her figure appear before Aiden and Siegward.
"Your highness."Both Aiden and Siegward bow in the same time. Celestia giggles and accepts their bow.
"Wait Siegward, you know princess too?" Siegward nods and says.
"Yes but not much I just came across her."
"Indeed, as he says. Come both of you, enjoy the Nightmare Night."Celestia says. Aiden and Siegward bow another time and take their leave to enjoy the Nightmare Night. Aiden looks at every pony on his sight watching their fancy costume, he sees one that's quite like him in Faraam Armor but in pony form, some dress in fairy-like pony ,some is undead-like and they're almost made Aiden draws his sword but he know they're joking. Mostly he has seen is in Nightmare Moon costume.
"Hey Aiden over here!"Sally's standing behind him waving to him and Siegward. Aiden turns to Sally and waves back as she walks to him and looks how woderful he and his new cloths is.
"Oh it such a beautiful even without armor plates." Sally rubs her front hooves on the cloths. Aiden smiles at her and tries to pull her off gently.
"Whoa easy Sally."She suddenly stops and put her hooves down and smiles innocently.
"Okay, ohh and.. who is he? the... uhmm another human?" Sally looks at Siegward.
"Well here's my friend from the far away land, Siegward of Catarina."Aiden says.
"Hello." Siegward greets Sally.
"Oh please to meet you too, Siegward." Sally says.
Aiden and his friends walk and sit down near the large campfire where every pony is gathering around. Princess Celestia approaches next to Aiden and sits down.
"Citizen of Canterlot, As you all know we are all here for my sister, Luna. I am very thankful for coming out this beautiful night... Luna would be happy if she were here... sadly she's not here..." Celestia look at mare in the moon sadly and stands up.
"Every pony please stands up and pays a respect to my sister Luna." Every pony ,Aiden ,and Siegward stands up to pay a respect to Princess Luna in the moon.
"Thank you, every pony." Every pony sits down after princess. Aiden looks at Siegward that's holding a wooden glass and asks.
"Is that what I am thinking?" Siegward looks back at Aiden and smiles.
"Yes ,my Siegbräu. Perfectly brewed. Want some?" Aiden smiles and nod.
"Why not? Let's have a toast shall we?" Siegward gives Aiden another glass of his drink, Siegbräu. He rises his glass up together with Aiden and toasts.
"To my friend ,Aiden. Hahaha." Siegward laughs and bottom ups his drink.
"To my friend Siegward and every hoof friend. And may the ember guide me to the cure." Aiden says and drinks up the Siegbräu.
"Well, after this nap I must get going." Aiden nods and puts the wooden glass down then looks up at every pony enjoys their Nightmare Night. Everyone around the campfire enjoys the view of this beautiful night looking up to the stars and moon. Princess Celestia was left to her castle before everyone else with her guards. Aiden and Siegward are still enjoying the Estus Soup that's Siegward made and shared to every pony to enjoy too.
"What a Beautiful night." Aiden sighs and looks up to the moon and the star again while Siegward's walking behind him and tap on his back making Aiden turn to him.
"I must go now my friend. Until we meet again." Siegward says quietly as Aiden stands up and give Siegward a hug.
"Until we meet again my friend." Siegward accepts his hug and pats his back. He releases Aiden and leaves Canterlot.
Mean while every pony starts to fall asleep and the camfire turns into the ember after a long ignition tonight. Aiden's still sitting near the pile of ember and watches it fades.
"Until we meet again." Aiden sighs.
