Few days later.
"Well, I know this must be shocked you on your first day of work, I'm glad you're safe and decide to come back again..." said Krist's step brother Kevin, also the General Manager in the company.
"I took holiday to do some assignment at home, and clean up some old stuff from my room..." Krist excused. "Don't worry I've used to it."
"Yeah, it's not your first experience for this kind of thing, is it?"
"Why does this kind of thing always happened around me?" Krist sighed.
"It just an accident, don't think too much."
"Accident?" Krist wanna laugh. "You mean, the final destination movie came to real?"
"Call it what you want, accident happens around us every day. I hope this will not affected your working mood."
"This is my reason to go far away from this place, I'm afraid to see this accident happen to all of us, sometime I do feel that I was cursed." Krist sighed again.
"Do you make it happen?"
"No, I mean..."
Suddenly someone knocking at the door and cut off their conversation. Singto walk in and hand a document report to Kevin, he glanced at Krist for seconds.
"Sing." Kevin get his attention. "Thank you for the document. I guessed you had known my brother Krist. Oh, I haven't thank you for saving his life."
"Well, you asked me to keep an eyes on him." Singto replied. "I'm glad that I make it on time, on that day."
"You guys talked about me behind my back?" Krist cut in.
"Mother want me to take care of you, but I think you're not the little child anymore, who I should command around to keep you in line." Said Kevin while adjusting his glasses. "Since it's not my job to watch over you working, so I think this job more suit for Singto."
"Well, wasn't he your secretary?"
"My schedule not as much as you think. Singto have a lot of free time, sometime he even accompany me to have an afternoon tea."
Krist widen his eyes in disbelieve. "How much do you pay him for his extra job?" Krist jokes.
"Now I got an extra pay." added Singto.
"For keep an eyes on me?" Krist grinned. "Don't you know I got more than nine lives, there is nothing could harm me!" he paused for a second and add. "But, if you get too close to me, I'm afraid you'll get hurt."
"I'm not afraid of that, I also long life like you."
"Huh?"
"Alright, you can leave first, I have some business with Singto." Kevin told Krist. "Alone!"
Krist glance at his brother for a second next to Singto in suspicious, then nodded. "Okay, I'll go to do my job, excuse me!" he then leave the room, but before the door completely close, he could saw his brother extend his hand toward Singto's face and bam! Door closed.

Krist never take the elevator again since the accident, not only him, some of employee also choose to take the stairs as well. Though the last accident cause by human error, a technician marked on the wrong elevator door, so the control room officer turned the damaged elevator light on. The trauma still haunt everybody since then, beside that there is a rumor of employee who saw a fat woman without legs wondering around elevator hall.
After lunch break Krist bumped at Singto in front of emergency exit door, and he offer the guy to goes up together.
"What do you have for today?" Singto asked.
"Chicken Wing. Why?"
"Taste good?"
"Well, better than cookies." Krist answered straightly, suddenly he remembered what he saw in his brother office and raise up his curiosity. "I saw you and my brother...."
"Huh?! What did you see?"
"Well, I guess now I know why my brother doesn't have girlfriend, thought he reached 30, so the reason is..."
"What?"
"You..." Krist said to the point.
"Me?!"
Krist breathe in and stretch his left arm to cuddle Singto. "Look, even though I'm not into male and male relationship, but I don't have a problem with it."
Singto checked for Krist action for a second and look confused. "So, what it's mean?"
"Well, I mean you can talk about everything to me!" said Krist. "You know, sometime love is occur at the strange place, strange time, and strange couple, whatever is that, fall in love itself is strange thing that happen to us, do you agree?"
"Er...I think love is common thing that happen to everybody."
"Ah, yeah..." Krist surprised. "That's for normal couple, idiot!" he commented in small voice.
"Huh?!"
"N-nothing, I thought I saw a ghost!" Krist is pointing at the upper floor.
Suddenly they saw a man's shadow that look familiar came out from 7th floor, three floor above them and suspiciously running up to the rooftop.
"Who's that?" Singto exclaimed, then exchanged the glances with Krist for second, both of them quickly follow that guy.
The two guys arrived at rooftop in any minutes and look around for the guy they chased a while ago, and Krist eyes catch the man's back who standing on the edge of building and about to jump off.
"Sshh!!!" Singto gestured him to silence, they exchanged the glances again and slowly approach the man who is the control room officer that turn on the elevator light.
"I deserve to die..." the poor man sobbed. "That day, was my last day working, I'm about to resigned, and I got the new job in Bangkok....I supposed to fly to Bangkok today." His shoulder trembling hard as he's crying. "Aaargghh...." he lost in emotion and cries sadly.
"Congratulation, for the new job." Singto speak up.
The guy surprised and slowly turned around looking at two guys. "What do you say?!"
Krist is surprise as well and glances at Singto for a second.
"I say congratulation for your new job in Bangkok." Singto repeat it. "But, I'm so sorry for what happened to you now, and I need to remind you that you had to take responsibility for your carelessness!"
"I don't want to stay in jail! I would rather die!"
"If you think die could make you feel in peace then go on! I won't stop you."
"What?!" Krist glare at him immediately.
Singto ignore him and continue. "But, let me tell you, your body surely will rest in peace, but your soul...might be tormented by regret forever."
"You don't know how I feel right now!!! I had killed somebody!"
"So you think to do it again to yourself?!" Krist shout emotionally at him. "She was destined to die, no one could stop that happened, no one wished for it, no one planned that, blame her fate! It's supposed to be me who died that day, but unfortunately the grim reaper choose her not me!"
"What?!" the man exclaimed. "Do you tell the truth?"
"I believe you have watched the CCTV record."
The guy lower his head in silence and feel regret. "Maybe, you're right!" he speak softly.
A smile appear on Krist's face and he nodded.
"If you able to return the time, will you stop that accident?" Krist asked.
"Yeah, of course." he sighed. "But, I know that impossible."
"No matter how hard your logic to accept it, we can't make it right anymore."
"I understand, thank you." the man smiled.
After a while he finally jumped to the safe side of the edge, yet unaware of accidentally nudged a bricks nearby, causing one of the bricks to fall down to the road below. The brick almost hit the car that happened to drive pass, but the driver managed to slam the wheel to the right side and unfortunately hit two pedestrians.
Three of them shortly look down as shocked from roof top after heard the sound. Krist hardly gulped his saliva and take the deep breath.
Meanwhile, Singto asked Krist to accompany the poor man, and immediately rushed down to the ground floor using an elevator to check the accident. The cops comes after a while to investigate the cause of accident.
The victim is the fat woman's family who came to company for took care of her belonging and received the compensation money, fortunately they not die in the accident and be sent to hospital to get the treatment.
However, the control room officer soon realize that is him again who caused this time accident from the driver testimony, so the next day he been reported missing, and two weeks later his body been found floating in the river and been indicated of suicide case by the cops.
