จับมือชั้นไว้

Here is a short story with a beautiful message...
เรื่องสั้นๆถ้อยคำสวยงาม...

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
เด็กหญิงตัวเล็กๆคนหนึ่งกับพ่อของเธอกำลังเดินข้ามสะ พานกันไป

The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,
พ่อเกรงว่าลูกสาวจะกลัวจึงเอ่ยกัลูกสาวตัวน้อยๆว่า

'Sweetheart,please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river.'
ลูกรัก จับมือพ่อไว้นะลูก ลูกจะได้ไม่ตกลงไปในแม่น้ำ

The little girl said, 'No, Dad. You hold my hand.'
ลูกสาวตัวเล็กกลับบอกพ่อว่า 'หนูไม่จับมือพ่อหรอกค่ะ พ่อต่างหากที่ต้องจับมือหนู'

'What's the difference?' Asked the puzzled father.
'แล้วมันต่างกันตรงไหนล่ะจ๊ะลูก' พ่อสงสัย
'
There's a big difference,' replied the little girl.
'ต่างกันมากเลยค่ะพ่อ' ลูกสาวตัวเล็กตอบ

'If I hold your hand and something happens to me,
'ก็ถ้าเกิดว่าหนูจับมือพ่อแล้วมีอะไรเกิดขึ้นกับหนู

chances are that I may let your hand go.
หนูอาจจะปล่อยมือพ่อไปได้นะ

But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens,
แต่ถ้าเกิดว่าพ่อจับมือหนู หนูรู้ไม่ว่าอะไรจะเกิดขึ้น

you will never let my hand go.'
พ่อจะไม่มีวันปล่อยมือหนูเด็ดขาดไงคะ'
