ลำดับตอนที่ #1 : Simple Present Tense

รูปกริยา Subject + v(s,es).

Simple Present Tense คือ เป็นสิ่งที่พวกเราทำตามปกติ โดยจะมีตัวกำหนด เช่น everyday,every morning , always,usually,sometime,often,never

ยกตัวอย่าง

1.I comb my hair every morning.

2.He walks to school every morning.

3.We usually walk to school.

4.My brother always gets up late.

5.The sun rises inthe morning.

แสดงให้เห็นความจริงเช่นประโยคที่ 5

แสดงให้เห็นสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นเป็นกิจวัตรประจำวัน หรือเกิดขึ้นประจำเช่นประโยคที่ 1-4

ให้สังเกตการใช้กริยาในSimple Present Tense

ถ้าเป็นประธานของประโยคเป็นเอกพจน์ จะใช้กริยาช่องที่1

และต้องเติม "-S" หรือ "-es"

*ถ้าประธานประโยคเป็นพหูพจน์ ใช้กริยาช่องที่ 1 ได้เลยโดยไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนรูปหรือเติมอะไร

อันข้างบนแบบเข้าใจง่ายๆแต่ไม่ลึกนะพอไปได้มากกว่าส่วนข้างล่างเอามาจากเว็ปจะลึกมากกว่า

การใช้
1. ใช้ present simple tense กับความจริงที่เป็นกฏตายตัว ( general truth)

1.It's cold in winter.

อากาศหนาวในฤดูหนาว

2.The earth moves round the sun.

โลกโคจรรอบดวงอาทิตย์

3.The sun rises in the east.

ดวงอาทิตย์ขึ้นทางทิศตะวันออก

4. Birds fly.

นกบิน

5.Action speak louder than words.

การกระทำดังกว่าคำพูด(=ทำดีกว่าพูด)

2.ใช้ present simple กับการกระทำซึ่งเป็นประจำในปัจจุบัน ( repeated or habitual facts )

1.He says helo every time he sees me.

เขาทักฉันทุกครั้งที่พบกัน

2.He gets up early everyday.

เขาตื่นแต่เช้าทุกวัน

3.He comes to her place several times a week.

เขามาหาหล่อนที่บ้านสัปดาห์ละหลายครั้ง

4.Ladda usually goes shopping on Sunday.

ลัดดากจะไปซื้อของในวันอาทิตย์

5.I sometimes go to the movies with her.

บางครั้งผมก็ไปดูหนังกับหล่อน
เหตุการณ์ หรือการกระทำที่เป็นประจำ มักจะมีคำหรือข้อความประโยค (แสดงความบ่อย หรือความเป็นประจำ) ต่อไปนี้

always	every month
sometimes	every year
often	once a week
frequently	twice amonth
usually	every other day
naturally	in the morning
generally	on Sundays
rarely	on week days
seldom	when (ever) he sees me
habitually	when (ever) he comes here
every day	whenever he can
every week	whenever you want

3.ใช้ present simple กับสิ่งที่กำหนดแน่นอนแล้วว่าจะกระทำในอนาคต

1.I leave by the 6.20 train this evening.

ผม(ตกลงใจ)จะออกเดินทางโดยขบวนรถไฟ 18.20 น. เย็นวันนี้

2.He sets sail tomorrow and comes back next week.

เขา(ตกลงใจ)จะออกเรือพรุ่งนี้ และจะกลับ(แน่นอน) ในสัปดาห์หน้า

3.We attack at dawn.

เรา(ตัดสินใจ)จะเข้าโจมตีเวลาเช้าตรู่

4.อาจใช้ present simple ในการสรุปเรื่องนิยาย หรือละคร

Bassanio wants to go to Belmont to woo Portia. He asks Antonio to lend him money. Antonio says that he hasn't any at the moment until his ships come to port.

บัสสานิโอต้องการจะไปเบลมองค์เพื่อเกี้ยวพาราศีนางปอร์เซียเขาขอยืมเงินอันโตนิโอ อันโตนิโอบอกว่า ขณะนี้เขาไม่มีเงินเลย จนกว่าเรือจะเข้าเทียบท่าแล้ว(เขาจึงจะมี)
