-A star map-

My called was end up at Mrs.Baker line, she was the last one I called because I need to let's she know that today I'm not come to work. I used my day off after I saw a message from Wesley's phone and it's real, from him not Aimé. I was sure about this, it from him. I getting up and tried to find my present around the bed, I was remember yesterday, all the day I got it with me in hospital, but now it's gone where I put it? I tried to rewind my memories and thinking back of yesterday. Then I thought I should ask Henry maybe he will known where is my present?

I pull the door room and went out to downstair, in the house was dark as much as the night time and no light; and I knew why was dark around in this house because Henry was vampire not ordinary guys or normal; I meant human, but he's was an immortal and his immortal bartered with his soul that I never will, it's scary me so much. I'm careful during going downstair until I got the last stair, but I was stumble then I could feel someone held me up not let me fall. His hand so much cool and you can freeze easily if you hold his hand a little long time.

“Where do you go?” he asked.

“I was remembered. I got a present with me all the time then now I didn't know where it is? I tried to find it, so do you know where is my present? cause it's important to me.” I asked with looked around even it so much dark, where is the light? I thought.

“Here in my hand. I...aaam keep it for you, after it almost drop from your hand at hospital. When you're very tired."  Henry told. I was looked up on his hand and saw my present, feel like the light rising up on my face I felt it no matter I couldn't see the color of present. I took my dark present from his hand. “Thank you, and I should go now.” then the neon light shining up and I saw his face I looking for a while and Henry said “let's me take you.”

“Maybe I could go....alone and I will, because this is daytime. It's not good for you.”

“Please, even no sunlight I will be okay.” said Henry. I nodded before said

“Alright.”

Henry started the car and he driving to the hospital with me on the passenger seat. I'm holding my present in my hand carefully and I knew I wore the same dress as yesterday, I will change it next time after I saw Wesley. My mind was always about him and I hope every time he'll get better. 

Almost an half hour later, Henry's car was on the parking lot of hospital, he driven fast through the way and I was close my eyes sometime when it made me nausea. I got out the car before get in hospital with Henry behind me.

I walked inside to waiting room, but I didn't see Aimé maybe he was in the room with Wesley when I thanking of this I directed myself to room that Wesley had stayed, but I'm not forget Henry I turned to him at the door before open it and get myself in the room.

“So, will you come to see Wesley too?” I asked him. Henry looked up to me.

“No, I was just...took you to this place and I got to go. See you Sandra.” said Henry and he turned around with walking away. I didn't say anything, I should do to say something to him I know and he moving so fast and I can't speak up now. I turned to the door with grasped the doorknobs and pull back. I saw Aimé beside the bed almost closed to Wesley that made me couldn't see him then Aimé face up to me and smiled.

“Hello Sandra!, come in.” Aimé told to me. I keep my eyes at him before stepping in the room when I came near to the bed I was saw Wesley. He's dressed of hospital patient suite. Some point on his skin had gauzes and some also red and he still very pale and skinny.

“Nice to see you.” said Wesley, his voice almost in normal tone of him.

“How do you feel?” I asked tried to control my voice not too worried or sad.

“I felt really better. Really great.” he told and smiling.

Then, I still watching him in silent, we looked to each other between us and I don't know what I can say, so I may prefer not to say. Now Aimé said “Well, I will come to find something for drink and what would you like Sandra?” I looked to Aimé.

“No, thank you.” then I turned to Wesley after I heard the door close again and Aimé gone, Wesley sat up on the bed and grab my wrist before pulling me on the bed. He hug me from behind and I turned my face to him.

“I'm really scared...when I heard you got cancer. I love you so much.” I told him and in the last sentence deep down in my throat.

“Oh, baby I'm okay now. Everything gonna be alright.” he told me with holding me so tight. I smiled before we're kissed. I was closed my eyes to felt his lips and every part of him that I was really missed before, but now I got him beside me. I need to be with him and all the day that I couldn't see him it's hurt me as hell like yesterday.

It's obvious for me. How much I need him and I never get enough from him while we kissed everything beautiful. So how can I see him hurt or leave?, no! If something never change, if cancer incurable, but took him away. I will need help from Henry I don't know much about blood of Vampire, but I saw some series about Vampire's story that the blood of vampire can heal the wound or made people to be healthy again. Maybe this will be bullshit or maybe not, because vampire was real.

We stopped for kissed. I took his hand and give him my present. “For you.” I said and smiled then Wesley look up to it “For what's occasion?” he asked and took it then he hold my present in his hand. “Your birthday, I knew it too late, but I want to gave.” I don't know how it look like to be, I'm not sure he like it, Wesley hold my hand.

“You already gave me one. On that night remember? You with me on the roof, this is the great present for me.”

“Like I told you. I want to gave it for you.” I said again.

“Now, can I open it this time?” he asked and I nodded.

He open my present and found it's heart chocolate. “Wow! It's lovely. Thank you.” Wesley told to me. Then I smiled, felt really good to this before I move down to sit in chair beside the bed instead. “Are you tired?” Wesley asked me. I shook my head and told him “No, I'm...just figure it out.” I replied and made myself not too look like that tired.

“About what? Figure it out? and you looked tired baby.” said Wesley then I'm not answer him right now, but I was wait to waste the time.

“I think maybe I should quit the work and come to take care of you instead. I felt that because of me, you've been there, it's my fault.” I told.

“No, stop and listen. It's because of my damn skin. Nobody fault about this alright? Don't you thinking like that again. Promise?” he put out his pinkie to me for promise and I made promised to him.

In the next day, I'm come to work as usually day with Briana and she's asked me about Wesley too, we were chatting a little in this morning. After the end chat of me and Brianna I was thought of Wesley about that he told me he didn't know how long he must stayed in hospital. He need to move off as soon as he can, but seem like Dr.Robert didn't give a sigh to let's Wesley know that he will get out of hospital soon. He might stay util Dr.Robert let him. Today I will visit to him at evening when my work will done.

We arrived at Sweetest land store and I said thank you to Briana before get out the car. She wave goodbye to me before I get in store. And in the store I saw no one that not surprise me cause Mrs. Baker will come to store at 10 o'clock everyday and the new girl who's working with me instead Cathie will be at 9:30 am., her name was Vista. And now it's 9 o'clock time for me to clearing the store before open it up in next 45 minute.

I wipe the counter and feel like have an eyes on me then I turned around and see Vista coming to the store, but she doesn't look at me. I was sure she's not the one who's looked at me, but I didn't see anyone more. “Hi, Sandra.” she said after pulled the door. “Hi, Vista today you get early work. Have something special?” I asked. She running her boot off before putting on red high-heels and put the gloves on her hands. She get apron on her body then she ready for work.

“No, I just need to change my time.” she replied and smiled. I nodded before got the broom.

“How about you boyfriend? Mrs.Baker told, you off yesterday because your boyfriend stayed in hospital. And you take care of him.” Vista asked without looking to me. She check the candy ball.

“He might be good as he told me, but I...don't know he too pale and skinny.” I said.

“oh...sorry to hear that, maybe you just worried too much. He will get better soon. Okay?” she told me with patted my arm. I only smiled with no words out.

I'm working like no soul I knew that and I was always looking at my phone even I know it's wrong, but I do just only need to text my message to him. Just only once for him to know that I will come after my work done.

When my work of the day end today. I get ready go to hospital by myself after let's Briana knew that I might be late tonight, don't wait for dinner. I got out from the taxi car and go inside in hospital after I arrived and payed driver. I passed lobby and every room till I reach to the room that Wesley stayed in. I'm knocking the door “come in.” Wesley's voice then I opened it up. “Hi!” He greeted. I stepping while looked around and didn't see other one only Wesley in the room.

“How are you today?” I asked him. Wesley shrugged with said “Good. I'm ready to get out, but they just need me to stay a little while.”

“To make sure, you will be alright.” I said.

“I'm alright now.” said Wesley and he stand up before come to near me.

“You alone? Loneliness?” I asked. Then he look sad.

“Yes, so true but not now.” he smiled and I smiled too.

“Hey! I have something to let's you see, but it's not done yet.”

“What's it?” I asked with my eyes wide. He leaned down to me before whispering to my ear “A star map.”

“Wow, I want to see it.” I told him.

“Not now, I just start it last night. You should wait a little I promise I will let's you see first when I'm done.”

“Okay. I will be waiting.”

“So, what we should do now?” He asked.

I knew he was so bore to stayed in the room almost all day then I take him on the ground field in front of hospital. With some snack we brought and I wrapped him I meant his body with blanket and my hat. He looked pretty good, but Wesley didn't enjoy he told me this is evening and all stuff was not necessary cause there is no light. But I can't accept these, he must protect his skin.

We went to the ground and find a place to sit. I saw kids playing, kids with patient of hospital suite who's must stayed in hospital because they're ill or sick. And we choose on side of the ground, at the ground every kids enjoy their chatting, walking, or running on wheel chair. We sat on field and Wesley try to spread the blanket on the field, but I'm not let's him because this should on around his body. After we sat and blanket around him I smiled then Wesley cover me with the blanket too.

“it's cool. I know you need it.” said Wesley.

“Heyyy...” all I should said because he stopped me with his mouth on my lips and wrap me with his arms. “I miss all of your.” said Wesley after we kissed. “me too.” said me. Then we looking up to the sky it's almost dark. And stars will come up soon.

“Oh, I forgot to take my star map.” Wesley patted his hand on his forehead. I say nothing.

“I can draw it, only in the night. You know it's only that time I could see stars. And with this time was very perfect to me, I'm outside on ground with you.” he turned to me.

“Okay, I will take it for you. If you need.” I told. But he shook his head.

“I think I had a time. And I don't want you to stay away from me. Not any moment because we've been apart from daytime enough baby.” he said and I kiss his cheek. I love to spend my time with him and I want to save my time for him if I can I thought.
